Hi folks! I'd like more of the track and parts that come with the Batman Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape 6857, and it seems smart to buy extras and sell off the minis to make the bricks "free." So... when is it best to sell the minis from a set? While it's still fresh? Shortly after EOL? 1-2 years after EOL or longer? Does it depend on the mini/set/license? Is this a good plan? Thanks!

So I've checked Brickset and brickipedia, but does anyone know of a list of the sets that contain the most minifigs. I know the chess sets and DS have over 20 figs each, but what sets come in behind them?

After seeing the new Gungan Sub and the Queen Amidala minifig in the set, I was amazed by her. The most beautiful minifigure I have ever seen. This set will be a hot commodity in my opinion. Thoughts?

Think about it. The designs were so primitive that they could easily be replicated into mini figures. They would be awesome! I'm sure they would do well in Japan, but I know a lot of people in the U.S. would love them too. I know this would never happen, but it's fun to think about and imagine the possibilities! There were so many cool villains that they could choose from. Dr. Wily would look awesome as a mini fig too!

I've uncovered a treasure of old Lego sets in storage from my childhood and I'm wondering what to do with them! This unopened box of Space mini-figures is an example. My kids play with Legos but don't collect them.

There are some great sets out there where the value of the mini figures alone exceeds the price tag on the whole set. Here are some that I am aware of: 6857 Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape - this is a $40 exclusive with 5 great mini figures. Great bargain! 6860 Batcave - Bane and Poison Ivy, Batman and Robin! Winner! 9473 - The Mines of Moria - This set retails at $79.99, but you will rarely pay that for it if you are a thrifty online buyer. This comes with 9 mini figures. The giant Cave Troll and Legolas are the high points here. 6873 - Spider Man's Doc Ock Ambush - Another exclusive set that has 3 great mini figs at $30. All 3 figures are exclusive to this…

Hey all, I'm currently in the process of collecting all the Batman minifigures from current Batman sets, all the way back to the older sets from the past. I was just curious if anyone out there knew how many different Batman minifig variations exist, as well as which are the most valuable/rare? I'm also curious to know how many different Robins, Jokers, and Bane's, etc. there are? I know Brickset.com has a lot of this, but they don't have the values. I figured someone out there might happen to collect these minifigs as well and might have an idea of what all is out there, or know a website that has the complete list of them. Is Brickset.com my best bet?

I've been seeing a lot of these 'shirtless' Darth Maul mini figures from the 2012 Toy Fair in New York City on EBAY lately: 'Shirtless' Darth Maul Mini Figure They have been consistently selling for $200+ on EBAY. My issue is not the mini figure(which is very cool IMO), it's the sellers who are saying that this is a "1 OF 125" set. There are no markings on the package like other LEGO Limited Edition perks from the Toy Fair or San Diego Comic Con. There could be hundreds of these sets, if not more. $200+ for a single mini figure is a bit overpriced for a set that has no proof of its exclusivity. Just my 2 cents...

I don't know how do they manage to do this or for how long have they been out there. Here's the link. For having them before release date, they are overpriced. I'll wait anyways.

I was looking through the value of the sets since the last update, and I found it interesting that only one of my Collectable Minifigure sets actually changed in value. My assumption is that is has to do with the ability to match the sets to the auction data, because people do not use the set numbers when they list them. I was curious if that is true or not, or if there is a perfectly logical explanation like they didn't change or it is user error on my part?

Did I enter this set incorrectly into my Brickfolio: 8683-18: LEGO Minifigures Series 1 - Sealed Box It's killing my "bottom line" Is there a way we can get the CP more accurate on a sealed box of S1 minis? Thanks, Matt

I read over here in some thread that there was a guy who bought 40 or 50 TC-14's and was about to sell some of them. Anybody has that thread or the user? I want 2 of those before the price goes up (again).

Here is your chance to obtain(for FREE) a super collectible chrome STAR WARS mini figure! You all know how those 'chrome' and 'gold chrome' mini figures such as the: Chrome Darth Vader Chrome Stormtrooper Gold Chrome plated C-3P0 have appreciated over time. These were FREE with other LEGO offers. I posted the actual LEGO advertisement below... LEGO.COM is running a really cool offer on May 4th and 5th... LEGO May 4th/5th Offer!!! The above link really doesn't give you any specifics, but I received a postcard from LEGO with the basic details: ****If you spend $75(US) on any combination of STAR WARS LEGO sets on May 4th and 5th, you will receive: 1…

Have you noticed the trend on EBAY where sellers are taking the STAR WARS 'Battle Packs' (7655 and 7913) and removing the Clone Trooper minifgs and reselling them for more than the original set was worth? It also happens with any of the 'Battle Packs.' Great idea. What's even better is that buyers are snapping them up like crazy. Thoughts?
