Found a yoda torso today: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=973px158 However, there is no printing on the back. It has a shine to it, almost gold pearl-ish. Inside is hollow, no supporting pegs for the legs. And weirdest of all, it appears to be mis-printed. The horizontal lines are on top of the pockets, and the necklace string is on top of the "dogtag". Any ideas? I can't find it on BL or on google. I have 2 of them.

http://www.etsy.com/listing/100055271/hot-wheels-164-white-diecast-display?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_listing_promoted&utm_campaign=toys_mid&gclid=CL7AlPD8mrYCFQmFnQodiVgA3AHey guys/gals, I know its been covered before a bunch, but has anyone ever tried to use hotwheel display cases for their minifig collection? I saw this one and a lightbulb went off in my head. All you would need to do is turn the case sideways, and you would have an almost perfect minifig display. Technically you can leave it as is and still have 1.75 inches in height per slot. But sideways would look nice and spaced out in a 'grand' sort of way. Thoughts?

This one has been bugging me and probably some other members here. How do you get a mint factory sealed retailers box of Minifigures? I know you can buy them off other people like eBay or Bricklink, but where do they get theirs from? A distributer? A big name retailer? Lego Shop-at-Home? Some guy they met in a bar? Help me out man!

What is the deal with this? I just looked on BL and none of the others really top $5! Were there only two bags of him included per box or something?

How much would you pay for a complete lot of 16 Series 1 minifigs? Not for investing, but for personal collection? A quick search seems to put this around $160.. is that reasonable?

If you are curious as to what the new standard sized box that LEGO will start using for the Minifigures line looks like, than check out the attached images. After blueriderbrick posted about someone finding the Minifigures and some rare polybags at a Five Below store, I did a mapquest search and found my nearest one which was surprisingly close. I go in and immediately find the "Uruk-Hai with Ballista" and "Hogwart's Express" polybag right up front, and Series 9 of the Minifigures further in. Spent a good 2-3 hours I think going through four or so boxes of them smooshing like usual. I had found at least one complete set of sixteen and got seventeen extras. I couldn't…

I don't think the minifigure value is working correctly yet when i last looked. What are the most valuable figures from series 4-9? If i can get sealed packages of series 4 -7 at around 3 dollars each .... would it make sense to get them to sit on?

These minifigures are great. Someone just posted it on Craigslist saying to make an offer. I thought about offering $10.

It appears that the Elrond from the upcoming set will be very different and more plain than the collectible one in the bag: http://www.geekexchange.com/toy-fair-2013-lego-lord-of-the-rings-lone-ranger-and-tmnt-42505.html/lego-lotr-council-of-elrond How does this affect the value of both Elronds?

I am just starting out collecting Legos and my biggest question is do u guys think i shud invest my money into Legos and do u believe i will make money off of this? I mainly want to invest in Star Wars mini figures.. Do u think this is a good idea? Another question is if i see a great price on eBay and it says that u may not return the item. Is the price too good to be true?

I don't really purchase the minifig series unless they are really cheap ($1 each or less) so I don't know if this is a big deal or not but one of my local Shopko stores had Series 5 in stock and was selling them for $3 each. So, those of you who have Shopko stores might be able to pick up some old series minifigs.

My friend IrishGuy66 wrote a topic, (which got pretty heated) about trading, and so I'll take the brilliant name of his article and make a second installment about this Lego lifestyle. :)The first two pictures are of the minifigures that have traded for over the years, and the third is of the figures that I have gotten from new sets. As you can see, I have way more figs that I have traded for than I have gotten new, and they are all pure profit. My policy is to never trade anything that I have gotten in a set, so that I can keep my sets complete. I still have every fig that I have gotten in a set. One of the things I am most proud of is my Zam Wessel, which is only m…

I need at least 3 Dark Bluish Gray Minifig, Weapon Gun, Pistol Revolvers and 2 White Bar 3L with Handle, Stop Ring and Side Stops (Minifig Ski Pole). (Brickline labels) Basically the minifig guns that come with the series 1 cowboy (and others) plus the ski poles that come with the series 2 skier. I would usually get these at bricklink but factor in the shipping and their "handling charges" which most stores charge, it doesn't seem worth it. I figured these could be throw in a standard envelope and maybe some kind of small container. If anyone can help let me know. Shoot me a price...thanks NEVERMIND Looks like I found a seller on bricklink to hook me up…

I have made a couple of trades in the last 2 weeks and today I was charged a different shipping rate. My previous 2 padded envelopes that I shipped I was charged $2.07. Today I shipped another 3 figs and I was charged just $1.12. Both were sent via first class. The $2.07 envelopes the clerk marked as parcel and the clerk today (different lady) marked the padded envelope as large envelope. One dollar difference seems like a lot to me. How much does everyone else get charged? Was I getting ripped off before? Might have to remember when this new girl works :)

I'm sure others have noticed the decline in minifigure quality over the last few years, and this is especially worrying in the area of Star Wars Lego minifigures. You used to be able to pull off and exchange the arms of minifigs without worrying about damaging them, but now, torsos crack under pressure much more easily. Also, they increasingly come with cracks already in the torso. When I built my Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter, his cape had a black hair glued into it. Although this probably happens infrequently, it is still pretty bad. The reason this is topical to SW Lego is because Star Wars Lego minifigs are the reason most people seem to buy the sets and they a…
