Is anyone else getting super stoked about this release? https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/medieval-castle-31120

Surprised we don’t have a thread for this one yet but do for some $10 sets? Broke down and started one to post Jangs’ self-reported longest YouTube Lego set review of all time. Early VIP access 8/3/2022 (No GWP) Limit 1 now up to Limit 5 MSRP $400 LEGO Store Exclusive for now. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/lion-knights-castle-10305

  4. i acquired 5 Fantasy era castle sets from a Nextdoor lot (amongst other themes Toy story 3, Indiana Jones, and others) i have 5 sets that are pretty much complete - each has a few missing pieces, substituted pieces/colors, and some of the minifigures are missing or are missing accessories. i'm going to post each individually on Ebay in the next week or so, but decided to post here to see if anyone is interested since these are some pretty cool/collectible sets. I'm in Texas, so shipping would depend on where you're at of course and can be worked out. i can post some pictures if there is some interest. the sets are: 7036 dwarf mine 7041 …

Hello everyone, I am new here, so I'll start with a bit of backstory. Back in the day, I was a ravenous LEGO fan, and now I am starting to resurrect all the sets I've kept to give to my daughter. One that's really too big to give her is a large store display for Knights Kingdom from the now defunct Toys 'R Us. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it, maybe a rarity level or even a price. I can obviously look at each set individually, but I couldn't find a similar store display for Knight's Kingdom or even one with a similar display box style (with the large lego block theme). Its completely intact, and even still plays all the back-story about th…

I'm new to the scene and would like to solicit opinions. I have a Castle Giant Chess set 852293 new in the box. Should I sell it, or hold on to it for longer? Part of me is loathe to sell it... The main reason I bought it was because I thought (and still do) that it was so cool... This is one of the catalysts that clued me in to the investment potential of Legos, when I saw how much this set was worth after forgetting about it in storage for so long. So... keep and build? Hold? Or sell now?

Here is a pretty decent deal for the new Kingdoms Joust, set 10223. It has over 1500+ pieces and some very cool mini figures. The MSRP is $119.99 and this seller is selling them at $105. Not bad... Kingdoms Joust 10223

  10. Just saw this on Hoth bricks. Not sure if it's been posted yet (nor right place to post it) so admins feel free to move or delete. Figured I'd share! Looks cool!

Okay, these builds are not official Lego sets but they are pretty cool fan builds. Here's the website.

Hi Everyone! Wondering if anyone can give me some advice or information... I have an incomplete Lego set 7036. It is in the box, with instructions, missing large troll and minifigures. I know that this set (complete) can be worth quite a bit. Is it worth trying to sell this set incomplete or do I just give it to my kids??? I bought a lego table off Craigslist and got a bunch of bulk Lego, a couple Lego games, this Dwarves' Mine set and a Ferrari Victory set thrown in, all for a very good price. I've already sold the Ferrari Victory set and if I could sell 7036 I might even have most of my $$$ back! I appreciate any and all info.! Thank you.

dragon mountain taken off Toysrys Website http://www.toysrus.com/products/lego-castle.jsp For reference, it was on there just this weekend and now it is not. I was looking because I found the set on clearance at $40 at my local Toysrus. I am thinking the set won't do too bad since it is castle and has a unique dragon figure. Smaug is probably the better figure however.

Might want to look into this set, its part of the previous Castle theme, released in 2009 i believe and is currently back ordered through July 16th, i imagine this set will be discontinued very soon. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Medieval-Market-Village-10193

  15. This theme of warriors fighting against great beasts of legend featured great characters and monsters but unfortunately was limited in release back in 2005. Anyway, would you like to see the theme make a triumphant return and if so what fashion?

  16. The idea has been touched on somewhat throughout the different Series' of Minifigures and there has been a bit of talk on and off here at BrickPicker about such a thing, but we haven't really had a focused conversation about it. So how about we put it to a vote as to whether or not you would like to see Lego create a theme that revolves around the incredible world of Greek/Roman History and Mythology. Here's a quick rundown of all the related Minifigures. Spartan - Series 2 Gladiator - Series 5 Minotaur - Series 6 Roman Soldier - Series 6 Ocean King - Series 7 Roman Emperor - Series 9 Mermaid - Series 9 Medusa - Series 10 Roman Commander - Series 10 Warrior Woman - Serie…

A few websites are just buzzing with this info! LEGO Castle Returns in 2013? - The Brick Fan It seems we may yet get five new, redesigned or re-released sets for the CASTLE theme! Sheesh, just HOW many sets is LEGO planning on releasing next year?! I'd rather have some new sets, unless those 'Legends' will be some good set designs. Still, I'd prefer new & fresh, but what do you guys think?

So, with the current castle set, is it considered on par with the older stuff? It just seems like no one is really into them or it lost its flavor? For me, as a kid, I used to love the black castle sets, but one out right now seems to cartoony. What is your take on it? If I didn't invest so far into it, should I just wait for the next sets?

As Ed Mack stated in his new article about Battle Packs, the 853373 Kingdoms Chess set is a great 'Army builder.' I agree. What do you think about 28 minifigs for less than $50?

Hi, I am going through old bins of lego (15-25000 pieces by my estimation) And I have come across a LOT of old castle pieces - primarily from black knights/royal knights from the early 90s. I remember trying to build one a few years ago and missing about 10% of the pieces so I subbed out different colours etc. Is it worth it to complete the set to sell it (to get more lego) or just sell it as pieces in bulk. The other old sets like islanders and pirates and city, space police would take too much time. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Which of all the castles made ( Castle, Kingdom, etc.) do you think is the best?

  22. Hi everyone I am new to brickpicker and wondered if anyone out there could maybe help me. I was a huge fan of the castle sets when I was a kid and still have a few bits and pieces and a couple of sets. I have found a figure from a set from 1979, one of the very first, the set was 0016, I only have 1 figure but it seems to be pretty rare (or am I wrong) Would anyone know if this is of any value at all and if so, the best way to sell it? Thanks

Alright, first let me say that I am usually not one to post the "hey look at what I got" thread. But I scored big and I know there are some classic castle fans out there who can appreciate my latest craigslist haul. And I hope any fan of Lego and Lego investing can appreciate this to a point. I know it warms my heart and brings a giant smile to my face still. Almost all sets from the '80's and '90's with original boxes and instructions. I have built three of the sets so far and all have been 100% complete so I am very optimistic on the rest. The two 6008 Royal Knights are still sealed (A small set but still pretty awesome for being 18 years old). Plus a big ba…

This is my OLDEST collection I ever built back from 90s and only added the Chrome armor for the (king) commander... Since I cannot find anywhere near that quantity on ebay/bricklink I would appreciate if people give ideas how much do you think this collection is worth since i am thinking I will sell it soon... I will add more pictures next week. Also do you think it might be better to add Black Knights Castle and sell it in bulk all together or troops separate (with wagon) and Castle separate. everything is 100% complete (Wagon)
