This Rumor is from the 2 Transformers Websites. If it is true I will buy as many as I can and just take the ones I got from Costco Back for $80 .The Statement below is from the Transformer sites not by me. On another note.... hot rumor for Wal-Mart on Black Friday..... supposedly they will have Metroplex at $58.88! This unconfirmed but I have read it and heard it from a few people/sources now.

Hi community, It's been around three months since I last visted this site (work + a different business venture took my time/interest). However, since I found a few lego bargains at my local stores a few days ago, my 'brick' high has occured once again. In lack of a better sub forum to post such a thread, I put this in the Odds and Ends. Please move this to a more appropriate sub forum if warrented. I'm getting back into the lego business, I'm going to start up a lego store website focused around selling minifigs in the near future. I'm fully aware this will be a difficult task to pull off at first due to the nature of things (getting viewers and a custom…

PLEASE keep in mind while reading I'm HIGHLY medicated for a couple weeks till we find a right dose. As a lot of you know I have nothing but time on my hands, My girlfriend bought me an HO scale train set. so I'm gonna start building a layout using my Lego builds. I know I'm gonna have a Star Wars spot using the mini's. I'm also gonna build a town (or something) around my mini mod. Guess I'm looking for ideas on what to use please. I was also wondering if the Lego builds you can download from apps are worth anything? I look forward to your opinions. You have all helped me out on all my other stupid questions and I'm sure I'll have many more. Thank you all

Just wanted to post a pic of the Lego storage I built. Each unit is 4' wide x 2' tall. I didn't get the stain exactly the same on each one, and the drawers aren't completely uniform - you have to make sure you put it back in the same one it came from - but it works. Of course, they were both immediately full, so I guess I need to go vertical with another pair...

How do you all stream live tv? I don't like paying for OTA broadcasts, but I'm too far from any transmission source to get anything other than PBS. Locast seems cool, but it's not in my area. I can put together a hodge podge of services to watch live, but the price essentially mirrors cable or very near it. I'm using https://puffer.stanford.edu/ right now--the Standford University research stream that basically gives you live broadcast tv in exchange for watching your streaming habits. It only really works on my computer and is capped at 500 live users at any time and sometimes you have to wait for a "ticket" to open, but it's 100% free and legal.

Specifically I am talking about Legos that you open up and build and then are ready to pack them away after displaying for a while. Is it best to completely disassemble them before putting them away? Generally in the past I only take it apart just enough so that it will fit back into the Lego box, but still leave most of the parts assembled in case I want to display it again in the near future and not have to reassemble the whole thing. But my question is does it hurt the bricks at all for them to remain assembled for long periods, even years at a time? Does it tend to affect the tightness of the bricks in any way? I just want to know if I should be completely disass…

I'm a teacher do its obvious - we use Lego in the classroom for learning and play and I display my own Lego in my classroom. The kids love it, and my next class are all lego obsessed (need to brush up on my Chima and Ninjago)!

Sorry this is so long but I just can't take the stupidity and complete lack of common sense anymore! I need to vent! So back a week or two ago when Target was giving the $10 gift cards I ordered online 2 of the big Coast Guard sets for around $55 each, plus the $10 gift card. Pretty sweet deal, I thought. When I got my delivery one of the sets had a big dent near the top. Not too terrible, but bad enough that I threw it in the back of my car with the intention of exchanging it for a non-damaged set the next time I was in Target. So that next time was today. I go to customer service with my damaged box and receipt and explain the situation. No problem, I'm told. I just h…

I made a trade with a trader from another board. I sent my part of the trade on the 18th. It has been more than 10 days since the individual has contacted me via pm and I still haven't received the figures promised to me. So when should I start plastering his name all over the trade sites?

Hi, I know every set is different, and some sets are continuing to grow after several years, but what is the typical time for EOL sets price increases to level off? I'm asking as there are several sets out there, that when you look at the graph of sales, are just a flat line for the previous year's data available, so you don't know how long they were in growth. Opinions?

Just a thought. With all of the people buying the retired sets online, why wouldn't Lego produce a huge item?
