Ed and I want to create a page here in the forum (or somewhere) that will allow anyone who has an eBay and/or Amazon store to create a banner ad and advertise their store during the holiday season. Just PM me with a 728x90 banner and any small message about possible deals that you might be offering. Also make sure you include a link to your store and store name if there is one. If you want to include your Brickpicker name, let me know, otherwise I will keep it anonymous. This can be a good way for you to bring some new life to your store and get your holiday season sales off to a good start.

I recently inquired about why my country flag wasn't showing up under my user ID on posts. To solve this Jeff suggested that I log out of the forum and log back in again. This solved my issue and I'd suggest it to all members so we can keep track (visually) as to what is happening where with sales, findings, etc etc.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this if not I am sure it will be moved to the correct place. Recently all the graphs in my brick folio don't seem to load. All it says is graphs will show up here loading. It only stopped working 2 weeks ago.Not sure if this matters but I am using cad for currency and not USD. Iam I missing something. Or are other people having this issue? Thanks

We had a hard drive failure on the server today. I am trying to move the site to a temp server while this one is being rebuilt. That is why there have been a bunch of bugs and errors. I am trying to get things back to normal as soon as I can, but I am sure you will still having issues logging in from time to time, or see weird things. Sorry for the inconvenience Jeff

After a little banter and then some encouragement from Ed, I'm putting the question out there for my fellow BrickPickers if you have any ideas for Awards that can be earned and given to members? Be sure to check out the Awards page before making a suggestion.

Hey all just in case you didn't know how the affiliate program works I just wanted to reiterate what Ed said in a recent topic reply. They get a small commission when someone clicks on one of the links like S @ H.....they aren't making millions but they make enough to keep this site running. I figure since we all here use their great services for free, the least we can can do is click on the link from the store we buy our sets from, its a great way to tell Jeff and Ed thanks for this awesome site they have provided us!

I have brought this up in the past, but now with the way that the world of SEO and Google works we need to create more of our own content. The blog aggregator that I built may eventually penalize us. I am looking for a few Brickpicker's that have an interest in blogging to help keep up on the daily Lego news, announcements, deals and investment stuff. Please let me know if you are interested and have the extra time to work on this.

Good day! Need some help with BrickFolio. Added Angry Birds King Pig's Castle item # 75826 into Bickfolio but it did not show up on 'view BrickFolio items'. This means that I cannot edit or delete this item. However, it does show up on 'my BrickFolio' so I know it is added into the BrickFolio. Anyone's else had the same issue or know a way to resolve? I thought BrickFolio is a superb concept and really hope to get it to work. Thanks for sharing!

I have a friend from our church and he's got a huge LEGO collection but I don't think he knows about this site and I think he would like this place and to be able to see how much his collection is worth. We don't talk much in person but we chat over Facebook sometimes, so my question is if I sent him a link over Facebook would I get some brickpoints?

These people take their time to write articles, post pictures, and generally just help OTHER people. For FREE! So stop hitting them with one star. I am sure that they look at it...and it sucks when you spend time doing something for some one else then get hit with a 1-star. Lame. Sorry...end rant. I am also fulling expecting my lame blog to get hit with about 20 1-stars. LOL.

Hey everyone, I'm really new to all of this and I want to start earning brickpoints but I can't find any place that tells me how many I have already. Do I start earning them the moment I opened an account? Or is it something that I have to sign up for? I'm confused and just need some advise! Thanks!!!

This is more of a programming question. Obviously the site used to use ebay sold listings to calculate values for the brickfolio. A recent comic book app has split ways with another company that supplied them with sold comic book values. In terms of difficulty, how hard is/was setting up a system that records ebay values? I assume you have to pay to get the data from ebay then design you own program to calculate values? How long did this take and how difficult was it?

I was just wondering how long a set had to be out for the price guide to show how much it was worth?

I am sorry if this is covered someplace already, but if so I couldn't find it: how could I add sets to the BP database that are not covered yet? I know I can improve existing entries, but what about sets with a number that isn't known to BP yet?

I thought about an idea for a poll, but then I realized I have no idea how to make one. I might not be looking hard enough, but I can't find where to make one anywhere! Do you have to make some accomplishment to be able to start a new poll? Please help! Sincerely, A New Member in Need of Help

To all BrickPicker members... I just want to bring to your attention(if you are not aware already), that a huge storm is heading towards the middle Atlantic Coast of the United States. The center of the storm is supposed to hit central New Jersey on Monday and remain in the area for days. The storm is supposed to knock down a million trees across the Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York City areas. I would imagine that there will be millions without power for an extended period of time. Jeff and I both live in central New Jersey and it's safe to say that we will be without power as well. The servers for the site are in Texas, so I don't think the site will hav…

Hello everybody. I was thinking about how great this site is and came up with an idea for the owners of the site. If you guys read this could you possibly find a way to place a RETIRED logo next to the set as they retire. So when we are checking our brickfolio's we see which set just retired. Maybe even have a category within our portfolio that shows a retired section. Just food for thought. This site is fantastic and I use it almost everyday to feed my addiction for collecting legos.
