I've been partial to the LEGO brick since a young boy and still have my collection. I recently acquired a plethora of bricks from an antique store (belonged to owner's kids) and made off with the whole collection. After washing for days, I am ready to build! I love architecture, so I like building buildings.

I am a new user here, lifelong lego fan and casual collector... My favorite theme has always been Castle, but I really enjoy all of the historical themes... The different houses in the creator series also are a favorite of mine, and a guilty pleasure of course is collecting the new minifigures - even if they are made in China -RJ Kyrix9

Hello all, I just joined Brickpicker and so far it looks like a great site. I have been playing with lego's since I was about 10 years old and I will be 45 in 3 weeks. I don't know most of the sets I own, all my lego's are combined, I probably have between 600 and 700 lbs. They are already presorted so once I get them counted I will add the number of each piece I have. I look forward to having a good time on the site and talking to all of you eventually.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to the whole Lego collecting scene, but I've been a collector of various items through my life (hockey cards, transformers, playing cards, anime figures, vinyl toys etc.). I've started to become more intrigued with the idea of collecting Lego when I saw how much sets like the Star Wars UCS 10179 Millennium Falcon and the Modular Building 10182 Cafe Corner were going for! I can definitely see the viability and future growth of Lego investment, as long as they bring out great collectible sets like the Star Wars UCS and ensure that discontinued sets, STAY discountinued. This site is a great resource of information and I definitely look forward…

Hey all, wanted to formally introduce myself. I'm an AFOL in the DC metro area who just joined yesterday - site is great so far! I'm more of a collector than investor (none of my sets are in the box) but I appreciate the fandom that comes with tracing the popularity of certain sets as time goes by. I primarily collect the Collectible Minifigures collection (77 out of 144 owned so far), as well as a handful of Architecture sets. Other interests include music, hockey (Capitals fan, for better or worse), food, and design. I'll try not to be a stranger around here. :)

Hi there, Just stumbled upon this awesome site and registered! Have been a AFOL for a few years now after getting the 10030 set and then started collecting Star Wars. I've recently decided to do a bit more Lego investing and have picked up a few sets. I've also stopped collecting Star Wars and am moving into the LOTR range. Cheers G

Hi all, I want to take the oppertunity to introduce myself due thie post. My name is Raymond, 39 years old, father of 4 (1 son, 3 girls) and a LEGO investor, reseller, builder and huge FAN of the brand. I started a webshop in Holland 5 years ago, in the meanwhile I opened a store on bricklink and became a direct customer at LEGO. Due the fact it's still a hobby I had to close my dutch webshop and my focus is currently on bricklink and in investing sets. Like most of all I invest in the exclusive range but I'm busy with regular sets as well. I noticed that a lot of people are investing in LEGO, and it's good to have a place where we can meet. Fur further …

Hello, I'm new to the site and am looking forward to getting to know everyone better. Well, now the formalities are out of the way. I'm a fifteen year-old in south eastern Ohio and have been seriously collecting Legos for about five years. I say hickville because I'm a half hour from Wheeling West Virginia. My main focus however is minifigure trading and not so much set collecting. It is a really fun, and I trade with people like dunkers97, whiteboy02, Goblin scribe, IrishGuy66, and Wonton. I have not invested yet, but that is because I can't stand to spend money, another great thing about trading, it's free! Some of my friends like dunkers may try to kill m…

Hi Everyone, I'm a big Lego fan and my son and i have almost 500 sets in different conditions (new, used, built and unknown missing pieces ;-) I would like to know if any of you know what are the top 20 pieces that are most commonly used in sets in the the last 5-10 years. I basically want to buy a bunch of them realizing that i have many missing pieces that need replacements. I know i won't cover all of them but at least i'll use the 80/20 rule to fill many of my missing pieces. Any clue would be highly appreciated. you can email me directly to [email protected] Thanks in advance, Lee

Hi all, I'm a lifelong Lego fan who now has an infant daughter, and decided that it was time to start trying to make some money from my hobbies instead of just spending it. When I was younger I had to get rid of my Lego collection when I moved, and have always regretted it. (I sold over $3000 worth of opened sets for $300 because I didn't have time to sell them in lots.) Since then my wife and I have both purchased sets for our own entertainment, but I finally convinced her to let me try Lego investing this year. I'm a big fan of the Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Marvel sets, and my wife loves the Castle/Kingdoms (and LoTR also). I'm also gathering the Lego…
