Hey Guys! On Saturday morning i got an in-stock notification for the Huanted House at TRU.ca, but by the time i got the computer it was gone guessing they only had a couple, maybe even returns. With the States getting some in Target online though i thought this might be Canada's share of the most recent batch. With the flyer out and nothing really on sale (unless I totally missed it) it looks like bonus Airmiles and promo sets will pair best with MSRP sets. Is anyone else considering (like me) grabbing a couple of Frankenstein MF sets? I know TRU has them marked up to $74.99, but I could add a CMF and get the pumpkin poly and first mini-mini modular. Not bad for a retired set that is ready to go through its first holiday season retired... Anybody have any inspirational ideas on how to get maximum value from this promotion?

Looks like Mastermindtoys.ca is following suit with amazon and walmart in carrying the exclusives. Got and e-mail from them today advertising their availability online. FYI. Yesterday ran into a TRU in Montreal and surprised to find they have 2 79018 The Lonely Mountain on shelf, which should start to be available to VIPs on Oct. 15. Didn't check with clerks whether could check out with them, but seems they are just there for buyers to pick up. TRU does not put this on their website, so there is no clue that you can find this in store. For those who want this ASAP, a visit to your local TRU store might be worthy.

Just dropped into the local Walmart on the way home yesterday & noticed they had clearance tags on several Ninjago & Chima Lego sets (moved to an end cap) some of the savings were a whopping 86 cents below reg. on the tag! wow! I suppose maybe this was just a placeholder for something for the weekend???

Just got back from my local Target (Greater Vancouver Area). This weekend only spend $50 in store and receive a $10 gift card free valid store wide. I bought $50 in groceries to get my free gift card. I also noticed my store had the new imperial Star Destroyer 75055 on sale for $105 (reg $149.99) 30% discount! I didn't see this sale in their flyer, so not sure if this is sale chain wide or not. So I bought my groceries, put them in my car, and went back in to buy the set. $105 less 5% using my Red Card: $99.75 plus 12% HST = $111.72, less $10 gift card: $101.72! So I just found 8 of the sets at Dufferin Mall TRU and bought them all. I asked and they said they did not have any more, but maybe this is a sign that some will be appearing elsewhere in the GTA. I fell pretty lucky finding these. Hopefully the winning streak continues at my poker game tonight.

Nothing really amazing...some sets are 25% off, good for personal collection/gifts if you need it soon. For some reason I like the garbage truck haha. Trying to find/use some promo codes to make the deal sweeter...if successful I'll post the promo code used. Looks like free shipping too if you spend $99, I usually just pick up at store but might risk it and have it delivered. I saw the thread for Chapters/Indigo discount codes but Sears.ca has basically the same thing until Aug 14. Code #941612810- $20 off at least $100 purchase (potentially 20% off) Code #941612811- $50 off at least $200 purchase (potentially 25% off) So depending how much you spending between Sears and Chapters you might wnat to compare what deal would work out best for you.
