Have you ever wondered "What would it be like if Jar Jar were to experience death each day all 365 of them in a single year?" then look no further than this currently ongoing project by Eurobricks member Dr Spock 888 over at his Flickr gallery. Jar Jar having a bad year NOTE: At the time of this posting date, it was on Day 99 so be sure to check back every other day at least once to see the new death of Jar Jar.

Hi all, This site is awesome. So I was a huge lego fan when I was a kid, and recently began buying some castle sets. But I love the star wars sets, and they seem to be great for investment. Just wondering what sets I should get that are out now. I put a budget of 1200 to start, so any input would be appreciiated. One drawback is I live in Canada, never a y deals it seems. Cheers :)

As someone who owns very little Lego Star Wars, actually none that are opened yet (2 B-Wing's, and a Jabba's Palace) I don't know the true sizes compared to lets say the Kingdoms, LotR/Hobbit, or modular themes. However when I look at some of the sets being offered and I go off piece count they seem to be a little more pricey then some of the other themes out there. I'll take the non-licensed themes out of the equation, in fact let's compare Tower of Orthanc and Ewok Village. Orthanc is 2359 pieces compared to EV at 1990 pieces yet the prices are $200 and $250. Do the minifigures (5 vs. 17) equate for the huge price gap and the 400 less piece count? Or what about Jabba's …

I was looking through the completed auctions on eBay for the 10179 MF, and there was one that stood out to me. Here is the link. The set is graded 9.25 by the AFA. I am not sure what to make of this. I have never seen this happen before. I do not know anyone who could buy a set for that much. I know that they probably have very deep pockets.

So with the introduction of "Betrayed by Cloud City", we have the a new "Master Builder Series" category. The Death Star playset and Assault on Hoth would both fit into this category. What other sets could be created/updated under this new "Master Builder" category? My first thoughts: Mos Eisley Cantina complete with Docking Bay 94 Great Temple of Yavin Trench Run Coruscant Duel of the Fates Geonosis (Petranaki) Arena Battle of Utapau Coruscant Jedi Temple (Order 66/Operation: Knightfall) - Slaughter of younglings may n…

So I know that Star Wars has been somewhat of a Flagship for TLG, but is it just me or has anyone noticed a slight decline in the interest among LEGO fans and collectors/investors? There are so many promising investment prospects in other themes I feel that unless TLG Steps it up in the Star Wars Theme, it will fall by the wayside. The B-wing and the Rancor pit, while decent sets won't cut it IMO. Anyone else feel the same way or am I just way to new at this game??

These sets look pretty good, especially the Geonosis ones (all those new jedi). The prices are down because they are re-makes, but the figs are quite nice. Finally a chicken legged Darth Maul! Can't wait till episode seven, hopefully put the money, (and fresh ideas) back into this theme!

In the spirit of the other computer generated series such as The Yoda Chronicles and The Padawan Menace, here is the first based around the recent The Force Awakens with "Poe to the Rescue". It was just uploaded to the Star Wars channel a couple days ago.

Not too much info or even an actual picture yet, but FBTB has posted an exclusive Clone Lieutenant available this weekend at LEGOLAND CA for Star Wars Weekend. In the past, stuff like this has been given to volunteers, randomly to kids, and with purchases at the park. A couple years ago you got the white Fett with a $35 purchase, so hopefully this will be similar.
