What is your favorite College Football team - or who do you root for? I am from Kentucky and went to the university of Louisville so I am a big UofL fan. Coming in ranked in the top 10. If I wasn't spoiled enough, I live in Alabama and they have always been my close second place team as most of my cousins attended the school. They are ranked number 1 coming off 3 championships in 4 years! Let's hear it - who do you root for?

Does anyone know how to avoid the fees the USPS charges for sending oversize packages? Its called a balloon fee and if the package is over a certain measurement they tack on a fee. In my particular case it was an extra $12.00 on top of the original cost to ship a Palace Cinema.......lame!!!!!

So i was printing out labels for a bunch of small sets that i sold when i noticed a "18% holiday discount" tag on my shipping total. however the price was the same 1.67 that i always pay for my first class packages. basically the base price for first class packages went up 18% to 2.07, but in order to ease customers into rate rate hike, the usps has started us off with a scam discount. luckily as the weight of the package goes up, the price increase decreases, with 13oz packages only going up 10%. this is especially bad news for people how sell a lot of polybags, as well as for people that part out a lot of sets, since this is the preferred method of shipment for th…

Not sure who this will help but if you ship Priority Mail through the USPS and use Ebay labels (possibly others too) you can choose insurance at no charge up to $100 value. You can read more here: https://www.usps.com/ Hopefully this can help some as we all know the USPS likes to drop kick and step on packages from time to time. At least my mail carrier does. She has anger issues. Its probably all the packages she has to pick up from my house every day.

Hey everyone, The Brickfan.com and Bricket.com are reporting that a new Valentine set has appeared over in Europe primarily, but someone also mentioned seeing them in Toronto. No word yet on whether this will be a promo, but could be. In any case, it`s pretty darn cute! Here is the link. Perfect gift for that special Lego-loving-someone!

I believe this is an original printing press / stamp used for LEGO advertisements or something? From my research i would say it dates back to 1950s or 1960s because the format of the "O" in the word "LEGO" changed to the more modern style after this time. It is metal on wood and measures approximately 4" x 3.5" Any information regarding this item would be great! Thanks.

Today, for the first time, I got to see LEGO products at an actual LEGO store! I have always bought at other retailers due to the proximity of the store. The wife agreed to make a road trip with me today. I had no idea that everything was supposed to be that organized and in stock. She pointed out that her favorite set was the VW bus. I told her that if I could ever actually part with the monetary resale side of things, that was the set I wanted to build. SOLD! She is so incredible ( that and she still owed me a birthday present). Manager advised me that they will have the Cinema in store on the 14th for purchase by VIP members. Some other things he mentioned (as if he…

While I'm an undisputed "Lifetime LEGO Lover", I just visited Billund for the first time as part of the Fan Media Days event. My Impressions: Billund is a magical town where the bakery is perfect, the streets are clean and freshly paved, and everyone you meet is wearing the classic Minifigure smile. The town of Billund is quite literally LEGO land — the center of town where City Hall used to be has even been replaced by the magnificent LEGO House! Don't forget the very first LEGOLAND theme park, as well as the headquarters of the LEGO Group. The highlight for me was definitely the new LEGO House. It is architecturally interesting, and it's an amazing am…

Hey all my fellow Brickpickers. I just posted a job on Upwork.com looking for a freelancer to create some pins from existing blog content on 2 of our websites... And then came over here to browse the feed, and then I thought I would ask if anyone here is/knows an expert in that field. We have 100+ existing articles across two sites that we need turned into pins, and then 8-12 new articles a month as well. looking to test someone out on 10-20 pins, and then do a long term thing if it works out. Just thought I would put it out there.
