  1. Man......I learned my lesson tonight! Hard style! Saw a hero factory guy I wasn't familiar with on Craig's for 15 bucks. Punched it up on bp as always to see what value was. I did a triple take---checked the part number and picture and description. It was showing worth 120 new...and this one was misb. I immediately emailed and begged her to sell it to me tonight 9pm eastern. She agreed and I punched it---scooting across the state 35 miles. Got the item and a few others she had listed...not really deals....but I was planning a money maker on the hero factory so bought her used junk too for another 30 bucks. I was so happy on the way home...stopped and treated myself …

I've looked everywhere on here and tried to do forum searches to find the answer, but no luck. So... I've seen people post about how many total of X set are in people's Brickfolios, but I can't figure out where to find that data. I've read where people say things like, "When I see how many Fire Brigades are in the Brickfolios, I don't think it's a good investment." Where can I go to see how many of each set are collectively being held in Brickfolios? Thanks!

  3. When I attach a file, I see " You can upload up to Uploading is not allowed of files (Max. single file size: 10MB)" It worked last night. I have a an iPad 4 ("new") and using the standard browser.

Hello, I noticed today I didn't get any emails from threads that I'm following. Anyone else experience this? I checked a few of them (daily deals in particular) to make sure I was still set to follow the topic. I looked in my spam folder as well in case emails ended up there somehow. I even checked blocked addresses just to make sure I hadn't clicked something by mistake--but nothing there. Just curious if it is a problem on my end I should investigate further or an issue with the out-going process. I am sorry in advance if this has been discussed elsewhere already as a system problem and I missed the topic. Thanks!

Can somebody clear up for me what this represents? It says "top performing LEGO sets on eBay over the past six months" But it seems like it's miscalculating the rankings? BrickIndex: http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/brickindex.cfm 70752 is #1? This is still available for $7 on SAH. Is it taking the price of the lots it's included in? http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=41017-1 - Selling much lower http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=31023-1 - Negative CAGR? http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=850889-1 - Selling much lower

  6. Reading some of the latest comments I added in a feature that will show you similar topics when you are posting. This is just a trial run. Some may find it annoying, some may find it helpful. It can cut down on duplicate posts and help keep other topics going strong. Lets try it out and see how it works. Here is a video to show how it works. After you type your topic title and move to the next form field, you should see the topic options come in. If you see a topic that matches yours, don't create a new one, keep the other one alive. I disabled this feature in the Introduce Yourself forum, since I know there will already be many similar types. That is fine. h…

I think this might qualify as a possible update to Brickpicker when there is a chance to do so? Don't get me wrong, Brickpicker is great but i am thinking about improving just a tiny aspect of it. Here goes. When downloading the brickfolio data as an excel file, is it possible to have the items to be downloaded listed in checkboxes. Meaning we can just check the boxes for items that we want to download and leave the rest in the system. All this so that we download a more sort of tailored list that each individual wanted instaed of going into excel again ande deleting columns and sorting...(not that difficult but...) If the above is too difficult for the progamer to do so,…

  9. Started by Ted,

Just out of curiosity, i decided to post this in order to get some more information since i have done a search through the whole forum and not find anything close enough. I have often seen other Brickpicker members having different 'Rank', for example i am a 'Brick Broker' and some others are 'Brick Manager' or 'Brick Picker'. TheOrcKing in his profile is a 'Chairman of the brick'. That being said, i would like to know how we members achieve these 'Ranks' and in what order are they achieve from? i believe i go from 'Brick Picker' to 'Brick Broker' so what is next? Regarding the Awards, i used to see them the last time on the old forums but not now in the new forums, may…

Hi everyone. I'm trying to add a Lego Promotional Polybag set, but the Brickfolio does not know them despite being official Lego product and having the 5 digits on the bag. They are available for purchase only when we buy fuel at any Shell station in the Philippines, and was strictly enforced (gladly so), because I tried to buy them without purchasing fuel and all gas stations that I went to were adhering to the exclusivity of the promo (and I'm happy about that). Can anyone please help me identify them, as they might be known as something else? I've attached a photo of the set. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

  14. I recently got my hands on a few lego sets (unofficial or not, it depends on the individual) and would like to add them in my brickfolio inventory list but alas there are no set number for this. I got these at an official Lego event that celebrate Singapore 50th birthday hence called SG50, they are distributed like TRU build and take event by official Lego distributor or major shop retailer in Singapore. I know by adding them in, it might mess around with the data and prices etc, but can't we put in a 'line' item but maybe type in the price in the remarks column etc so that it comes up in the inventory but doesn't mess around with the whole brickpicker data collection s…

Are blog articles reviewed by mods before being posted or is it free for all? I decided to write a blog article hit submit for review so now it's in pending status. Does it mean that mods have to review it first, which is fine, or does it mean that I missed something and it'll be pending forever .

In case you haven't already noticed, we have added video reviews of LEGO sets from THE BRICK SHOW. In case you are unfamiliar with Jason and Stephen and their LEGO video review site, THE BRICK SHOW, check out the links on the bottom left corner of the homepage. Jason and Stephen do an excellent job of reviewing various LEGO sets and minifigures and also announces LEGO news from time to time. Their reviews are in depth, informative and entertaining. We hope to add their reviews on the Price Guide page for the various sets he critiques very soon. Check them out...

Due to popular demand, Jeff has added an AUTOMATIC LOGIN feature. The site should keep you logged in now without signing you out when your computer shuts down. I know it's nothing major, but many members were annoyed by the lack of one. Let us know if you have issues. My computer was still logged on this morning, so I think it works... Ed Mack

Hello... June's sales data has been added to the database and all of the indexes have been updated as well. If you haven't already noticed, a CAGR or Compound Annual Growth Rate statistic has been added to the tool bar in the Price Guide/Set Guide pages. For an explanation, please read the Brickvesting Blog on CAGR. Also, for those of you who want to know, this months "mean" or "average" for the thousands of LEGO sets we have a CAGR stat for is 12.81%. Any questions, feel free to ask. Ed Mack

  22. I noticed today that the charts on the "My Brickfolio" page don't seem to have changed dates across the bottom. They currently have March 2017 to February 2018. Is this functioning as intended or is there something I need to change in my setting to have the charts update with the correct month? Thanks for any assistance on this!

I have been getting a lot of requests if people can post links of listings or to their listings on eBay or elsewhere. We are going to make the classifieds module in the forum live again and allow you to post sets, minifgures, lots, and request sets from other members. This is a very basic, but functional FREE service. Post your items and members will reach out to connect with you. No transactions are done though the site. You manage it any way you want and complete your transaction. There is a feedback module for members to leave on the transaction. There is a spot in your account settings where you can go to enter in a few defaults for each listing to save time…

  25. First, thanks for creating this AWESOME site. I have been investing only since January 2012. I'm curious as to how many new members you have added since that time. And maybe even each year before that. The reason I ask is because there is so much talk about market saturation and influx of new investors. So I figured that you are the one who would see how much growth there has been in the last 1-2 years. If you can share this information that would be great! If not, that's ok too!
