Harry Potter

I haven't seen a set of Harry Potter except for the bus since Black Friday. (So mad I bought a new Wii U instead of spending it all on HP LEGO sets.) What are the chances that they are done with this set all together? Please tell me I will see this in stores again... I REALLY want to be able to buy these at a good price.

Greetings: I have a small collection of HP sets (3 Burrows, 2 DA, 2 Hogwarts, 2 Hog Express, 1 Hagrid Hut, and a couple Quid Matches). I know this question is routinely asked and answered but I couldn't find it before posting. I've been checking ebay every week or so for the last couple of months, and with the exception of the burrow and maybe express, I haven't seen the prices going up too much. What are the thoughts on when to sell these sets? Much appreciated!

Trying not to clutter the deals page. Thought it might be good to have a spot to chat about it. Also had an epiphany. It is a book, so outside of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centers, could this be a B&N exclusive?

I just visited a small local store here, and i noticed that they have 3 4866 all damaged by a tie wrap thats wrapped around tge box. I could resist myself to buy them because of these damages, but still thinking about buying them for this price, so please some advice on it, should i buy them or leave them because of the damage?

Where is the best place to sell Harry Potter legos? I looked at eBay and most of the sets are not selling which makes me hesitant to post them there. It looks like Amazon is only selling new sets and not used sets, although I do not know if that is accurate or not, and there is nothing listed on Craigslist. Any ideas?

Isn't here much of a price increase in this set when they are MISB?

I'm pretty new to the Lego investing game. I've purchased a few big and medium size sets for long term hold, and trying to earn more investing money by being active on craigslist to flip some sets. Today I bought a complete set 4842 Hogwart's Castle for $100. It has all the parts, the manuals, but no box. I'm pretty sure I can flip it within a week for $250. So, two questions. 1) Is a quick flip for $150 profit the best answer on this set? Is it a sell now, sell at Christmas, or hold longer? 2) Or is there a better place to put the $150 profit right now? Where? The sets on my long-term hold wish list are Pet Shop, Palace Cinema, T1 Camper Van, and maybe Tower Bridg…

I recently bought a huge lot of the first rounds of the HP LEGO line, and found really cool how well they fit together to make the complete Hogwarts Castle with almost every single room, as well as some of the other locations. The newer 4842 is definitely the best looking HP castle, but to be honest had I been into this back when the original sets were released I would have probably preferred those to the new ones. Hello everyone, I have the opportunity to grab Hogwarts 4842 for $175. Only thing is that the box is medium-heavy shelf wear/creases/damage. Still sealed though, which is most important. I own a Helms Deep in similar condition, and I think this is a good deal but just not sure on the level of shelf wear or creases. How much will this reduce the value? Thanks! EDIT: Keep in mind that I am in Canada, and $175 is only about $20-25 over the retail price.

I have a few of the Harry Potter Knight Bus (4866) and there is a difference between the boxes. One has extra information printed on the front (number of bricks etc). I purchased this one from overseas. Does it make a difference to the value? Are the ones without the extra information worth more. I am planning on selling them but would like to know which ones I should keep for longest. Many thanks, Tylerfox.

So, I just picked up the last HP sets in my local store: Hagrid's Hut 4837 for 39,00 EUR Hogwarts Express 4841 for 75 EUR Should I hold onto these two for some more time or just resell right now?

What are your thoughts on set 4768 Durmstrang Ship? I haven't heard it mentioned before, but am picking one up today from someone on CL. It's the one with only 2 minifigs, not the one with bonus figs.
