What is your favorite Lego Architecture set? I love the Lego Architecture Series and have built almost every model. I just completed an article on my blog where I've identified my 5 favorite sets under 50$. I'd love to hear what other fans of the Architecture Series think. LINK: http://tomalphin.com...cture-sets.html Some questions I'd love to hear your thoughts on: How many people on this forum have built most of (or all) of the sets in this series? What's your favorite set? What most important for a great set in the Architecture series? Realism, advanced building techniques, great parts selection, the instruction booklet, size of finished model, price…

I didn't see a dedicated thread for this set, so I thought I might strike up a little conversation. I have not seen much discussion on this gem of a set. I personally love it! It's an amazing display and a fun build. It hit $75 before Christmas at one point, and now it is there again, sitting at $75.20. It's been creeping downwards. How low will it go? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CVGV5H2/ref=ox_sc_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Brickset just announced that we will be getting another Architecture set in 2014 called Marina Bay Sands. I do not usually collect the Architecture sets, and will probably not get this one, however, the investment potential is amazing, and I have a feeling that the Architecture sets will be a real investment winner. What are your thoughts on this set?

Arguably the best display set in the theme? I'm definitely putting one of these on my desk. What's your take on the potential? Seeing the 2011 set robie house retiring makes me feel the falling water is not too far away. Lego online shop starts to show stock shortage. Stock up time?

Via: toysnbricks The first 2013 LEGO Architecture set has been revealed in the Italian LEGO catalog! LEGO 21017 Imperial Hotel will contain 1188 pieces and will range from $90-$100. Available March 2013. The picture is listed below. It seems like a pretty big building since it has over 1100 pieces. Also it seems to be a pretty accurate representation of the Frank Lloyd Wright Imperial Hotel. I hope this becomes a popular architecture set.

We are starting to see this set show up on the secondary market. Is there any rumors floating around that this set will be available to the public sometime this summer? This could be (giving to all the Lego employees) part of a market research project to see if there is any interest or an attempt to create interest in this set. I

Didn't see a thread dedicated to this set which I think is a sleeper other than its super long availability. maybe one that's off the radar sort of like the ubiquitous Empire State Building that is turning to be a decent investment. From a seller point , the SSN is super light and cheap to ship. Just went to SOLD OUT at shop at home USA in the last 24 hours. still in stock at TRU for shipping for $1.00 (5%) over MSRP. Going to clear out the local bn stock this week.

Long-time fans of the LEGO Architecture series are probably familiar with Adam Reed Tucker, since he founded the LEGO Architecture series in 2007 in partnership with The LEGO Group. Adam designed 16 sets in the LEGO Architecture series, and helped write the book LEGO Architecture: The Visual Guide. I recently noticed (on the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation's website) that Adam designed three nice looking models based on iconic Frank Lloyd Wright buildings which have not been included in the LEGO Architecture series yet... Martin House (1904, Buffalo, NY), 1961 pieces. Taliesin West (1937, Scottsdale, AZ), 1763 pieces. …

We don't have a thread for the new Tokyo Skyline, so I thought that I would make one. I've built and reviewed the set at Brick Architect, and I'm sorry to report that the set is quite a disappointment! (I'm not alone—Andrew at TBB was also really unhappy with the set.) ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡ: #21051 Tokyo Skyline My main critiques were the unsatisfying building techniques for the Tokyo Tower, the over-reliance on printed parts, the disconnect between physical geography and the layout of the model, and the disregard for historic architecture by not picking specific historic buildings to re-create. Nonetheless, this is a site dedicated to LEGO investing, so let's…

Tokyo & Dubai Skylines will be released on January 1, 2020. I'm pleased to share the first in-depth review of the Dubai set on my Brick Architect website. It's a better set than I had expected, mostly due to the absolutely fantastic rendition of the curvaceous sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, in the High-Tech Architectural style. ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡ: #21052 Dubai Skyline As you will see, the other three buildings in the model aren't quite as good, but the overall effect is effective. I hope you enjoy the review, and please let me know if you have any questions I can answer! LINK: https://brickarchitect.com/2019/review-21052-lego-dubai-skyline/ …
