Quick question as the customer support line is closed now until Monday. Do LEGO Shop at Home charge carriage for returns, or a restocking fee? A better offer has come up locally than my delivery from LEGO Shop at Home, that arrived yesterday. Am thinking of returning to LEGO Shop at Home and rebutting from the local shop?

  3. Has anybody else noticed how the Lego SAH website is conspicuously silent on all the new stuff coming soon? Aren't the new SW sets coming on 9/4, just 12 days from now? 1) It seemed like all summer long Lego SAH was displaying upcoming sets and listing "coming soon" for anything that was within six weeks of being available. There was a ton of new stuff on the "What's New" page with release dates for the upcoming month (or later). 2) ALSO, right now 8 out of 26 Lego Exclusives still listed on SAH are SO or TOOS (I'm including Red Five in this list even though it no longer appears under Exclusives search). It sure seems like new Exclusives are on their way in. We all now …

For anyone who has got up late, there is a very interesting sale on at EU Lego shop with 30% off a number of items. Notable mentions are: Exo Suit Lego Movie (exept Sea Cow) Star Wars Micro Fighters series 1 Mixels Series 4 SW B Wing Ultra Agents and Marvel selected sets Chima selected sets. Hobbit line This seems to suggest retirement for a wave of sets in June but no exclusives. UPDATE: Items are being moved to SOLD OUT status as soon as there is no stock left so on past evidence we can assume they are retired.

Was thinking today about the actual meaning of some of the language Lego uses to market its products and started to come up with a list. If anyone has any more examples or explanations, it would be great to share them! LIMITED EDITION (We will produce as many of these as we can until people stop buying them and to screw with resellers´ brains) RETIRING SOON (We have far too many unsold units out back due to pesky resellers inflating our initial sales estimates. Come on guys, buy them now so we don´t have to discount them) EXTRA VIP POINTS ON THIS ITEM (I thought we told you it was retiring soon. Are you dumb? Come on now, buy a few and don´t make us have to discount it). …

Hi, I remember reading this somewhere here last year but couldn't find it anymore. Tried to do a search and the results were not truly relevant. Can someone explain what the different orders status means? I am particularly interested in knowing what is the difference between "backordered" and "waiting for new stock." How are these different on LEGO Shop at Home?

Quick question: do the LEGO Shop at Home buying limits ever start at 5, go down to 2, then back up to 5? I don't remember what it started at but the slave 1 has a limit of 2 and I'm wondering if it will go up to 5 at some point. Thanks!

This has probably been asked, but I'm in a crazed rush as a result of some unfortunate mishaps yesterday. For those that have been following any of my posts, I'm on my last day in Europe, flying back to Vancouver tomorrow. I'm in Paris today, and full intents on visiting the So-Ouest Lego Store. That said, I've also been placing orders like crazy over the past week through SAH Canada, for delivery to my home shortly after my return. I've accumulated ~2800 VIP points. The question I need promptly answered is, when I view SAH.ca I have a credit of 130 CAD, but when I view SAH.fr it shows 130 Euro. What with the rather large exchange rate, does Lego honour this? Will I have…

little tidbit from the back of the June Calendar, stores opening in: SouthPark Charlotte NC Polo Park Winnipeg MB Providence Place, Providence RI Southcenter Seatle WA I saw posts about Winnipeg (eruobricks i think?), but I was not aware of the Providence Store. Thats within an hour of me. And did not see mention of the others, though would not have been paying attention anyway. Any other details come out about the openings yet?

I always wanted to know what happens with a lego set during oos (out of stock). For example i ordered a PS yesterday with order status expected ship date 27 January, do they make a new batch or need they some time to get a stock from another warehouse?

I went to the St. Louis LEGO store last night with the family and picked up a few pick-a-brick cups. While in line I noticed the assistant manager talking to a customer about the Back to the Future set. The store did not have any in stock but they were available online so the assistant manager gave him a card with a promo code for free shipping on any order from Shop at Home. I asked the cashier about the Ecto-1 and was given a card for free shipping as well. I know most people qualify for the $75 free shipping but thought this would be good for smaller orders.

Just a recent thought: VIP points save 100%-100%/1.05 = 4.76%, not 5%. Not that it matters much, but might be interesting for those of you who (like me) factor in VIP points in purchasing prices. Other factors that I don't consider: no interest rate on points (loss will be lower the earlier the points are being used) chance for overhanging points end up never being used (increased revenue decreases percentual loss) making less lucrative purchasing decissions because of points etc.

I ordered a 10241 from LEGO Shop at Home a couple days ago and according to the FedEx tracking it was delivered today, left outside my door because no one was home. Problem is, there is no box by more door. It is missing. How does Lego typically handle this?

Ok so the idea behind this thread is if you could all post any orders you have made and that were actually fulfilled during the 30% January sale. The reason behind this is that the most interesting
