Hi all Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere on forums. Haven't be able to find anything but please post link if it exists. So far all of my Lego investments are stored in the delivery boxes they arrived in. Half of these are direct from Lego SaH so are well packaged IMO. When storing should I leave them in the delivery boxes or take them out? Also should I be storing them on their ends or flat and on top of each other? Cheers Greg

I've tried to research ways to 'polish off' old transparent pieces that have been scratched to death, but nothing seems to work. I think I remember someone saying toothpaste, but that was not effective. Is there any known way of buffing out those scratches and getting it somewhere close to the original look?

I have just aquired some vintage lego circa 1960 and in the process of finding values for them. I'm coming up strong on some but not so on others. One set that I can't seem to find much info or rough value on is a large 700/3 set. I have attached some photo's and hopefully someone can shed some light. Many Thanks, Marcus

Complete newbie here so please bear with me. I recently acquired a lot of Legos. I'm trying to sort through the legitimate ones from the fakes. I understand there are basically three versions of standard head moldings. The one with the "tri-bars" in the recessed part confuse me. I cannot find the Lego logo on this type of head. The logo is pretty easy to spot on the original head mold and the newer recessed ones. Is there a logo on this "tri-bar" type of head? If so, where can I find it? I even brought out the microscope for this one but no joy! Thanks for any help. Greg

  5. Hello there, I am new to the world of LEGO investing and have been doing some research on various strategies to build a profitable portfolio. I have noticed that a lot of experienced collectors and investors on this forum seem to have a deep understanding of the market, especially when it comes to retired sets. I am interested in starting my investment journey by focusing primarily on retired LEGO sets. I believe these sets tend to appreciate faster and more consistently compared to currently available ones; but I would love to hear your thoughts on this. What would you recommend as a reasonable budget to start with if I am focusing solely on retired sets? …

Picture below. I'm pretty certain that I have Dark Bluish Gray on the bottom and Dark Gray above those, but the two in the middle that are off-centered, what are these? They seem lighter than the Dark Gray around them unless I have my colors wrong?? These are my 1st Dark Gray and later on I'm sure I'll have a question about LIght Gray. Thanks for the help.

Here is an oddity: I have an Ebay sale of a $600 Lego item on 3/26/23 . 3/27/23 I use UPS label to send the parcel to Glendale Heights, Illinois, without being specific it's an industrial park with a real name and "care of" business address. 3/28/23 customer messages saying he got a refund and the parcel couldn't be sent internationally. I also get a refund message from Ebay saying there was a problem and both buyer and seller were refunded. I check the UPS tracking number. It was delivered, only problem is, that's not the buyer's address. During messaging buyer tells me he is Canadian with a Canadian address. Ebay gave for the shipping label an address dom…

  8. I know this has been asked before but I though it would be good to update it in 2017. You can choose multiple answers but I kindly ask to pick only the main (to a max of 3) ones that you currently have the most sales on.

Hello, I am looking to sell a MISB 60 years anniversary set(the SAH promo in January), and I wondered what was the cheapest(while still safe) way to ship the set. I didn't know whether the flat rate USPS boxes were the way to go, or if UPS could be better. Also, I was planning on putting it up for sale once Christmas gets a little closer. That isn't too early to sell is it? Also, Ebay or Bricklink? I have bought from Bricklink before and like it, but I don't know which is preferable. In short, I am new to the game and trying to figure out where to start.

I can get this for $50. Is there enough flipping value here to make $? I see several Storm Troopers, Chewbacca, C3PO, at least some of a Boba Fett, an Indiana Jones. Other things of good value? All those skeletons are probably nothing. Thank you in advance.

  12. I know LEGO Shop at Home received a new update, but is anyone else having issues logging into their V.I.P Loyalty Program? When I sign in to the reward centre, it just pushes me back to the sign in page. Also, my wishlist has totally disappeared. I called customer service last weekend and they said it will be fixed in a few days. Just curious to see how many people are still experiencing similar problems.

  13. I'm rebuilding sets out of bulk lots I purchased this year use bricklink's inventory. I typically include the extra pieces in case I ever resell as I would consider that complete. But is it worth it? Should I just ditch including the extra pieces?

  14. Does anyone know what time in the US does TLG release new sets on release dates? For example, the sets due to release on May 1st, will those be available at 12:01am Eastern Time in the US? Or is it random?

Hi everyone, first time posting on here. Ordered a Slave 1 via Lego online and it was a bit damaged on arrival so sent it back for an exchange. The second one arrived in the post yesterday and there was a thumbnail sized bash in the corner. Was planning to keep the set unopened. Do you think a minor bash like this will affect the value or am I being a bit over the top with my concern. Have been in touch with Lego again and they have offered another swap, but am wondering if I'll just end up with another slightly bashed box and get stuck in a never ending cycle of returns. I've attached a picture so you can see.

OK. Just getting back into LEGO. If this has been asked recently I will take my beating then move on :-) Are all new parts being produced now the Bluish variety of grey or are both bluish and regular grey being produced? Sometimes I look at my grey parts and say :This is blue grey?" Thank you

Should I? Kind of strange. They did refund me. Should I just place another order for less of them? I did order while they were out of stock. But they are in stock now...

Picked up a Death Star 75159. Seller shipped it without any box so it arrived absolutely trashed with packing tape all over it. I'm trying to figure out if it's all present. Does anyone have any recommendations or knowledge on what is contained inside the outer box? I have 2 unmarked bags and 4 bags for #5, #7, #9 and #10. Along with the 3 white boxes which should include the other bags along with the manual. So basically 16 marked bags and 2 unmarked. Plus the 3 white boxes, all of which appear to be factory sealed. I tried watching a bunch of unboxing videos but can't seen to find one that lays out just what's inside just the outer box.

Hello, I'm thinking of selling my LEGO collection and I have A LOT of sets and bricks. I want to know how much you think it's worth? I think I could get $5,000 or more! $5,000 being the medium price. I might be able to get $7,500. What do you guys think! Thanks LEGO fans!

I am starting to rebuild Lego sets that I played with when I was younger. I know I don't have enough room in my bedroom to display all the sets I have, so I'll have to rotate them in and out preferably without taking them apart and rebuilding them. Some of the larger sets I have: 7662, 8032, 7477, 8964, and 7671, anything else is relativity smaller than the at-ap. What is the best way to store already built sets?
