Hey guys, So recently I found a small stash of fire brigades nestled away in a nearby store. I've seen a lot of discussion about the possibility of this set taking a long time to rise in price. The price for this set down under is $300 so I'm on the fence on if to buy as I have limited money to place in long term investing. Guess the question is, should I buy a couple to invest or would I be better placing my money elsewhere? (i.e. a few sopwith camels at $120 AUD). Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker

Hi fellow investors and brickers Im an Australian and I like the look of modulars but i see a lot of you investing in this particular set. The problem is this set costs $240 for Australians which is quite a bit on top of the exchange rate difference. I was wondering if this set is still good to invest in for us overseas folk. I cannot ever imagine ever getting a profit out of this set by selling it overseas (shipping it back to USA will cost $50 adding the total to $300). This means i will have to rely on Aussie brickers if i do plan to resell it in future. Would like to know your opinions on this matter thanks

What are your thoughts on this little set? I didn't bother to buy any when on sale at S/**** and it appears these are now EOL based on being sold out at S/****, walmart, target, amazon, and being incredibly difficult to find at TRU. Good or mediocre potential?

I couldn't find a thread for this already so if it exists please shift this one. Interesting ebay auction that ended. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-sealed-LEGO-6754-Creator-Family-Home-Retired-Set-Insanely-deadly-fun-/300919893893?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item4610392f85 I liked the title of the auction.

I am not so familiar with the growth of the Creator line other than the modulars and the house theme. I think it's a pretty cool looking set and really good price per piece especially if you get it on sale. Now it seems on its way to retire... So here comes the question... Would you choose to keep your highway pickup or sell it now for cheap, especially for those who got it with TRU exclusive sets? If you choose/chose to sell it, how much will/did you sell it for? Thanks!

Hello folks, I have been on holiday for he last ten days so I have lost track of what's been going on. I see the Mini VW buying is in full swing. So what are people buying? I remember posting a list with my ideas, but I cannot remember what they were or where I posted it! Doh!! Are the Winter sets for sale as yet? They had RRPs of

Did I get a deal or should I have waited for a better deal.. I figured since Friday Volkswagen will no longer be producing these in real life any more so I thought that would help the popularity even more.....

I'm going shopping this weekend and it looks like both Fire House and Emporium are EOL. Can only spend my money once. Which do you advise?

More of a poll for builders and fans of Creator; plus the fact I love another excuse for a poll. Anyway, here are links to each for referance and only the first question is multiple choice while the other two are not. Was just a little tired from work so I thought I'd take a break and build the hot dog stand. Though imo the hot dog guy is way overdressed. lol. To Lego: Now we need a Khlav Khalash stand and a Chicken over Rice stand and we're all set :D

the 2004 set to the newer versions? There is no "Sculptures" section so I will ask here. I have the original release from 2004 but it is almost 1/2 the price "used/open" as the newer versions from 2005 up. Why the price gap? Typically older is the more desired version and thus the higher priced. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank all!

Im looking for Ideas for my next MOC Modular Building, i want to build something that is fun and interesting, but i dont want to put all that time and money into it and then have Lego release a similar type of build. Example, i was in the process of designing a theater last year and then they released the Cinema...guh! Vote for what you think is cool and lego probably wont ever make. Also feel free to post other ideas. Church - Im sure they will avoid religion, would be a fun design Pharmacy - Would make for a nice ground floor shop with an apartment above Bank - Would be cool to build a bank vault but i feel there is a chance lego might make this Butcher Shop - …

Should I assemble my Green Grocer? What a dilemma. I bought it long ago, along with other smaller LEGO sets that we put together first. By the time we got around to it, it seemed to be too valuable to open. Now its worth $700 NIB. If we assemble it its still worth $450-$500, but that's like paying $200 for the privilege of building it. I bought it to build it. I have Fire Brigade, Town Hall, Grand Emporium, Pet Shop... Its so nice, love the color, it'd be a shame not to build it. But my husband strongly feels we should hold on to it as an investment now ("to fund all our other LEGOS"). Its my decision, I originally bought it for myself. (I bought it secretly actu…

Anybody else have this problem? I got to step 7 building the top floor for Grand Emporium and from there on I was missing 3-5 pieces from every step... Don't know what LEGO Shop at Home will do but this is definitely interesting.. I've had sets miss 1 or 2 parts before but never this scale...

Was buying one of these off craigslist, got ripped off, I don't think the guy ever had it. Now it's in the "Resolution Center." The picture was very convincing. Hopefully they will rule in my favor, I have all the emails. One of the members here had four of them but he's not responding to PM's. Does anyone have a complete set to sell? I guess without box/instructions since I already spent too much the first time? I can't believe I missed this one by a year or so, having only started this hobby recently.
