That seems to be what they are going for so at that price I wouldn't. I would only invest in the real expensive sets if I got a good deal on one. Just my opinion.

anyone know when the next modular will come out? Assembly Square was already leaked by this point. Are we getting one for Christmas? Are they skipping year? (there's nothing in the Christmas catalogue...)

Brickset released an image of what looks like a new polybag of a double decker bus...seems like it would be a perfect promo for August when the Big Ben 10253 set becomes available. Looks pretty cool!

ATTENTION COLLECTORS AND INVESTORS: On June 1, 2012, LEGO will be releasing a new version of the SOPWITH CAMEL. The older version, set 3451, did extremely well in the secondary market, increasing almost 200% from MSRP. This set looks much more complicated and accurate. Watch the LEGO 'DESIGN' video. Nice detail. A must have for any investor or collector, so save your pennies for June 1st! Here is the LEGO Press Release: BILLUND, Denmark

  14. With rumours abound of at least one of these Creator Expert vehicles going to retire this year (2017), which one do you expect to finally make it's way to the LEGO Sets Retirement Home?

So, less than 700 pieces but it looks like it will not be out of place alongside Caterham or F40. Gull-wing doors and adjustable spoiler.

HI Guys, we have had a creator expert car each year for the last 3 years now (Beetle, Ferrari F40, Mini Cooper). Does anyone have any thoughts on whether another Creator Expert car will be produced again this year, and any idea what it may be?

Very good looking set. Another "budget modular", which is great for people building their own town. You could make some decent sized buildings using multiples of this set. 50$ is pricey, but you do get some nice parts. Jang's review is up too:

60014 US Coast Guard Patrol and 31012 Creator Family House, does anybody have an opinion on these two sets?

  20. Started by HandyHand,

This unannounced set has apparently shown up at a local Sainsbury. Not my photos but copied from another site (Bouwsteentjes.info). No further details (price, exclusivity, wider release) known as of yet. Just found out that it's filed under the City Theme at Brickset, so a mod here may wish to move it there on this forum as well.

466 pcs, 2 minifigs, 3-in-1 build, Available from LEGO Shop at Home Jan 2015 until late 2016; currently "Sold Out" but not officially retired. RRP $39.99 (USA). Was readily available in USA most of it's life about $31 or $32... occasionally $28 or so, but hard to find for less than that. I always felt this was a boring set. I still do, but I have a few 31026 Bike Shop & Cafe and - this being second in the series - I had always planned on getting at least a couple 31036 when I could get a good deal. But that opportunity never came for me. Maybe I'll find one at some 50% off Walmart or B&N clearance someday.... but not getting my hopes up... I just don't see th…

So i grabbed this lil guy last night and i put it in the google machine and checked shopping and theres only 1 listing...... my internet broken i think???? So . I make my way to lego store and its not available til the first. Did the staff put it out too early or is this common for a set not to be on the internet but in the store? I was just shocked cause i have never seen just 1 listing ever of any lego set.
