Saw this last week, perfect timing for this parody what with the upcoming release of both films in the next year and a half. This guy did an awesome, hilarious job. Didn`t see a thread for it, so check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLyNMSkTiGg

For those of you lucky to have visited one theme park or another, what were a few of your favorite rides or memories? I unfortunately cannot seem to recall much from the times I went to Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, or Universal Studios Hollywood in California growing up save for some tiny fragments. I can somewhat remember the original Star Tours ride at Disneyland and a little from Back to the Future: The Ride that used to be at Universal Studios Hollywood. Those were fantastic. Star Tours Back to the Future: The Ride To help make this also Lego related, what attractions do you think could make great set designs?

Courious to what members here that have large inventory or collections on display do when they list their house for sale and do open houses/showings. Or when there's 'strangers' in the house like repair guys or hosting a large party. Do you declutter a bit and pack most things away...put your most valuable pieces away? Or maybe you don't care. Not that I'm moving or selling my house anytime soon but just wonder if members had experience of some jerk or kids grabbing minifigs or a set while viewing. My only experience is having a SW moc in the basement last year...a landscape type with lots of minifigs and small sets, after an event...I noticed Mace Windu and Yod…

Our apartment is home to tons of lego sets on display and now two kittens. our old cat had no intrestet in diplayed sets but young curiious kittens is another matter all together. so far the only steps we've taken is to remove all minifigs and light post from the modular block. it's only been 3 days and so far no problems. they have tried climbing the eiffel tower ( got up to the 2nd tier) and have waked all over the falcon and tower bridge, with no pieces falling off. wondering what steps members have taken to pet proof their displays?the sets are our personal collection and 99% sure they will never be resold

Hi everyone, I need some help from LEGO enthusiasts! I'm making a short educational film where I would like to construct a brain out of LEGO. What I'm after is some brick-sourcing and construction help from LEGO enthusiasts. I'm happy to pay you for your time and bricks. I don't necessarily need to keep the bricks, the brain could be dismantled after we build it. I'm planning on filming in the Playa Vista area of Los Angeles on either Sunday 29 June or Monday 30 June. I realize this really short notice, so if there is any advice you can give, like where I would buy bricks from, it would be hugely appreciated. I'm a freelance science educator tr…

It was reported Casey Kasem had died just yesterday morning at St. Anthony's Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington. For many of us, he will be best remembered as the voice of Shaggy Rogers from Scooby-Doo or Cliffjumper on the original Transformers cartoon. For the final years of his life, he was suffering from Lewy body dementia causing him inability to speak among other terrible symptons. May his spirit find peace.

Title says it all. I had the privilege of watching him play many times when I lived in LA, one of the greats. http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2014/06/16/mlb-hall-famer-tony-gwynn-dies-cancer-at-age-54/

The Kings won against the Rangers tonight, 3-2 in Double OT. Exciting game to the end. It's especially sweet for me. I've been a Kings fan since the early 90s (when Gretzky joined the team). I live in San Diego, so my other sports teams are the Padres and the Chargers. Can't stand basketball, so I only have three sports for my champions to come from. When the Kings won two years ago, it was the first time *my* team won a championship. And it's especially cool that it's happened again. This is awesome! One last cool thing - when the Ducks won a few years ago, they brought the Cup to my work (I work on a military base). So I got to pose and kiss the…

If you told me a couple years ago I would be a moderator having 10,000 posts under my belt ranked as Chairman of the Brick with a Haunted House on permanent display from earned points, I would thought you were crazy yet here I am or better here we are. I honestly wasn

If Toys-R-Us online doesn't have an item in their database anymore after entering a search phrase, they make suggestions for you that you can click. Those suggestions usually have nothing to do with what they actually have in stock as well. Instead they seem to be based solely on closely-spelling words. So, you can end up going through quite a few of interesting phrases. Good for a laugh. Here's an example: "Lego Haunted House" Did you mean: Lego Haunted Horse Lego Hunted Pony Lego Hunter Pony Lego Hunger Pony

Yes, I know it is one of the knockoff brands but news is news. Besides, a good collector/investor should know what the competition is releasing. Anyway, here are various images of the sets out for release this year.

Just making a friendly reminder for everyone, whether you are a fan of the show or not, to make a note of this very special episode (550th one I might add) that will happily coincide with the release of the Minifigures series for The Simpsons. Via The Brick Fan

So I thought that this would be a fun little game to play while scanning the forums or something like that. Here how it works. I say a word and you reply with up to 2 words that are (obviously) related to my word. So I might say 'sun' and you might say 'star'. RULES: - Up to 2 words! No more - No name calling e.***. 'dumb', '[insert name]' - No rude, insulting or hurtful comments. - No replying to your own post (posting a word after another) I will start: LEGO

I'm going to go ahead and say that's the largest private collection of official LEGO sets I have EVER seen. I mean seriously. When the camera first turned around to face the entire room. When the camera moves upward to see the hanging shelves. When the camera moves into an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SECOND ROOM EQUALLY FILLED WITH LEGO. It's like a game of Where's Waldo, but with every LEGO set imaginable. "Does he have the- yep, it's right there. What about the- oh, right there next to the other UCS sets."
