Hello. I recently bought a lot of Legos from at least the 1960s, perhaps earlier, but there are some pieces that have elongated studs and have no circular studs; the studs are just 2 horizontal lines. Also, they have an S-like marking on the top that is shaped like a duck on wheels. Can't find the marking anywhere on the internet. Can some help?

Hello their, I`m new at this Forum, also at Investing in Lego. so I bought 2 Sets for the start, but I don´t know how to see if its original and for what the codes on the tape stands for. Also I got a damaged packing, does this reduce the value of the set? https://www.imagebanana.com/s/1484/bk0zNi2I.html https://www.imagebanana.com/s/1484/ZA6cdVJU.html https://www.imagebanana.com/s/1484/Gk6FSHjh.html

  6. Hi folks - My family & some others are raising money this year to build a well in Africa. We have a big goal, so we have been dong some creative things as a way to help raise the money. This month we are hosting an event that will include a raffle, and I plan to donate some Lego sets to the cause. Which brought up some questions: - In this case, since I'm not giving the sets directly to a non-profit , how I would track this giving since I won't have a receipt of any kind for tax purposes? Do I just record it as a loss to my overall profits for the year? - What do I use for a donation amount here? Do I just use my cost paid? Do I use current market val…

  7. I uploaded a number of sets into my Brickfolio. The price many of the sets (all used) showed significantly lower that the values I'm seeing on Bricklink. One set is the Ferry set 1998-1. Bricklink has two for sale for $200 and $224 and ebay has none for sale or that have sold recently. Why does my Brickfolio show the current value of $27? Are these prices solely based on Ebay sold? What if none have sold on BL or Ebay? Can I manually enter a price? David

Just bought a box bulk of Lego pieces at Toys R Us for 90% off. It's just a bunch of different pieces, not from specific sets. Employee said it's from February 2017 event? I guess it's from those kids event they host every month or so. I have no idea what price to list them at. they are 18 and 14 pounds of legos.

Hello, I'm thinking of selling my LEGO collection and I have A LOT of sets and bricks. I want to know how much you think it's worth? I think I could get $5,000 or more! $5,000 being the medium price. I might be able to get $7,500. What do you guys think! Thanks LEGO fans!

  11. I have recently purchased a Used 3221. Reasonable price and all pieces plus the instructions are there. Even the spare bricks and the box are given to me. Unfortunately the sticker seems to be stuck on in a 'not so equal spacing' kind of way and some are just crooked in an angle. Are we able to readjust them? Maybe using the hair dryer trick will do? or anyone have any better ideas to share? I apologize for the long lines of words. Using the app to do this and it doesn't let the line breaks shows up on the post.

Hi, I was wondering if there were any ways to check stock of LEGO online. Whether there is a third party site that displays for many different stores, or if each store has a nice way? I live in the Midwestern United States, so my question applies to Walmart, Target, Meijer, Kroger(I know some of their superstores have LEGO), B&N, and Walgreens/CVS. P.S. I am asking because of Minifigure Series 18's disappearance.

So I have some old sets from my childhood that I'm thinking of selling. What is the best way to ship them out, do you leave it built or take it apart?

Hi all, I live in Canada and I have some people who want to buy LEGO from me but they are outside Canada. They are in Indonesia as a matter of fact. Can I have some tips on the cheapest and yet safest shipping so that the items will still be in great conditions (box not damaged). Or if you have any other tips in shipping method would be great. thanks in advance

I am starting to rebuild Lego sets that I played with when I was younger. I know I don't have enough room in my bedroom to display all the sets I have, so I'll have to rotate them in and out preferably without taking them apart and rebuilding them. Some of the larger sets I have: 7662, 8032, 7477, 8964, and 7671, anything else is relativity smaller than the at-ap. What is the best way to store already built sets?

Complete newbie here so please bear with me. I recently acquired a lot of Legos. I'm trying to sort through the legitimate ones from the fakes. I understand there are basically three versions of standard head moldings. The one with the "tri-bars" in the recessed part confuse me. I cannot find the Lego logo on this type of head. The logo is pretty easy to spot on the original head mold and the newer recessed ones. Is there a logo on this "tri-bar" type of head? If so, where can I find it? I even brought out the microscope for this one but no joy! Thanks for any help. Greg

Second post so I hope I'm not repeating a question but I've searched the forums about verifying short legs with no luck. The larger legs all have the Lego logo on them but I can't find a logo on the short legs. Do they have a visible logo? Also, I've been searching the web for a data base or description on how to identify Lego pieces. There is a lot about figures in general but not specifically how to identify. I probably just missed it somewhere but I'd sure appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

On clearing out the loft of my mothers old house I came across a vast amount of old LEGO some of which is nearly sixty years old. I do not want to use E Bay but can any one tell me its value and how best to sell it? Do I have to photo every box and piece?

  21. I got the Duplo Toolo RC Dozer 2949 in a lot I bought from eBay, but it unfortunately didn't come with any instructions. I put in fresh batteries, but I can't get it to work. Do I need to sync the controller with the base? Any help would be appreciated. This looks like a lot of fun if I can get it to work.

  24. There is clearly a disproportionate amount of British (Paris and US) themed sets of iconic structures than the rest of the world...but it seems pretty blatant for the rest of Europe considering Lego's homebase. Anyone have insights to why this is? There are such incredible castles, buildings, skylines, and ofcourse historical monuments all over Europe and it's baffling to me why the representation is so uneven.
