How does BP come up with Brickfolio set prices?

DBrick

Question

I uploaded a number of sets into my Brickfolio.  The price many of the sets (all used) showed significantly lower that the values I'm seeing on Bricklink.  One set is the Ferry set 1998-1.  Bricklink has two for sale for $200 and $224 and ebay has none for sale or that have sold recently.  Why does my Brickfolio show the current value of $27?  Are these prices solely based on Ebay sold?   What if none have sold on BL or Ebay?  Can I manually enter a price?

Our data is based off of eBay sales.  The set that you mentioned appears to be a rare and old one, so there probably hasn't been any sold on eBay over the past 5 years.  Old sets are difficult to come up with values because of the lack of sales. There is no way to add a figure to the Brickfolio with this version.  We will address this with the next version.  Thanks.
