With all the discussions about the Lego Minecraft set(s), I figured we needed one topic for all the sorts of random conversation from the sets released to the game itself or even whatever oddball videos one would find across the World Wide Web. Fallen Kingdom (parody of Coldplay's "Viva la Vida") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-sH53vXP2A Creepers are Terrible (parody of One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful") Revenge (parody of Usher's "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPJUBQd-PNM Cube Land - original song by Laura Shigihara (Plants vs Zombies Composer) The visual storyline is cool but for me the real highlight is Lau…

The Brick Fan just posted that Hungarian site, Kockamania, has reported two more Minecraft sets will be designed and released in the future. To clarify, this is not another production run but two newly designed sets which will complement the original one as extenstions. Here's the article on The Brick Fan. Considering how bare bones simple the original Minecraft set was, I wonder how exactly could they offer something different than before?

Rumored LEGO Minecraft exclusive coming in the summer for $200. Credits: Just2Good, thebrickfan. What do you think? Is the theme selling strong enough to warrant an exclusive? Personally, this might be the first exclusive I am 100% uninterested in. LEGO can always wrong me tho.

Hi All, I am looking at the next investment options and looks like this set is a sure fire short term winner. Lego LEGO Shop at Home UK are indicating next shipment date of 23rd Nov! (2 months away), Lego LEGO Shop at Home USA say temp out of stock and it has been in and out of stock all year according to others posts. My kids at school say all the boys are constantly into playing Minecraft (The computer game). Amazon USA is showing sets for $110.00 and Amazon UK is showing it at

It has been confirmed the next (4th) Minecraft set will be based on The End numbered as 21107. It should be the same retail as the previous releases and at least one of the micro mob characters an Enderman. The Brick Fan

no thread for this one yet? This is the biggest of the release I think, how do people feel about this? I don't know Minecraft very well so my natural inclination is to pass, but always curious for y'all's insight. Happy Labor Day everyone!

Yep. Minecraft will be turning ten years now and to celebrate, there will be a contest for an all-expense paid trip to the Minecraft exhibition at The Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, Washington. Additionally if you check back on the first link (or the main Minecraft website) on May 10th then May 17th, there are hints towards possible savings on related merchandise and content. Plus some big news whatever that might be. MAY 10th UPDATE: A free celebration map available for both Java and Bedrock edition (bottom of the 10th Anniversary page). 25% off all merchandise (excluding sale items) at the official online Minecraft store. (Discount automatically…

No official names known but we can see there will be another wave on the way. I hope one of these will include some villagers and perhaps a couple more of the critters from the game like a Slime or Wither Skeleton or even The Wither. We now have something of 'official' names according to this source. I hope the Iron Golem will include at least a couple Villagers and there will be a Wither Skeleton to go with The Wither. 21123 - The Iron Golem = 19.99 €21124 - The End Portal = 59.99 €21125 - The Jungle Tree House21126 - The Wither = 34.99 €

Aside from wanting to test the new forum's topic posting capabilities, I would like to start some conversation for this set released around the end of last year from the new Minecraft line of minifigure sets. One of the two most expensive sets currently available under The Mine and will be tied for second place when The Nether Fortress sees release, it is the only one between wave 1 & 2 with the Enderman enemy (three of them I will add) plus the focus of the set with the Ender Dragon of course. Unfortunately from a collecting standpoint, Steve's platinum armor will also be in The Nether Fortress but since both sets are of the same retail that may not affect too much. …

I'm hoping to strike up some conversation for the upcoming sets adding to LEGO's repertoire for Minecraft so I figure to pick the smallest and get the bricks building. A suggested retail of $19.99 for two Zombies, another Steve of course, and the usual generic parts aside from a couple special ones like those side brackets in green, treasure chest in medium dark flesh, and a couple translucent green 2x2 blocks. Not much to write home about by itself as the build is a very simple diorama for some little corner underground. However considering how commonplace of a mob monster Zombies tend to be in the source game (from what I have read), this could be one a fan of Minecr…

I was going to save this for another day but it got brought up in a different topic so here goes with the largest set for the second wave of Minecraft, The Nether Fortress. It will retail for $79.99 and include a Zombie Pigman, Steve donning his Platinum Armor again after The Ender Dragon debacle, somebody other than Steve thankfully with Alex, a Blaze, and a Ghast. Now I'm not sure why on the display model there were so many 'blank' bricks with what I assume is some sort of part number LEGO uses internally or maybe a date like the Ghast seems to have across its 'face' with Dec. 68(?). Very strange but then again so is the whole theme. Haha. In any case what is on the …

The Lego minecraft set that made it past the Cuusoo review is coming out in the summer. What I was wondering is, is it worth investing in. I' ve been looking around and found that a lot of people said that they are turned off by how small the set is. But I also found that people are saying that they would buy it for the pieces. So i'm kind of torn. Will this set go up in value as being unique or will the fact that it's so small drop the value of the set.
