I am new to the Lego world, but have become hooked. I have had some issues, wondering if anyone else has. Bought Pet shop new in September, received 2 instruction book #2 no #1. Got Death Star for Christmas, and while the instruction book is impressive it was missing 2 pages. Grand Emporium came with the flower part for roof with no hole, had to have Lego send new part. Is it just my bad luck?

I been reading about custom modular building, the link below sell instruction guide and his creation is really good. Before buying his instructions, will it be easy for me to gather the required bricks? Will it cost too much? http://www.brickcitydepot.com/city-building-instructions.html

I previously asked everyone's general idea on how much you would pay for MOC instructions on average. (Anyone buy MOC instructions?) Here I would like to ask, "What do you think about the style of vehicle designs in the attached images?" and "What do you think is a fair price for a set of digital instructions for similiar designs?" I rather like these designs. They are like a nice blend between minifig-scale and realistically proportioned I think. These kind of designs use about 200 parts or more on average, are 7 studs wide, fit very nicely on those road plates and look great parked next to any building. I value your guys opinion and like hearing what's on your mind. …

  16. Can someone tell me in fairly simple terms how you go about creating a MOC, for example if I was wanting to build a MOC of the building(s) I work in. I have never built a set before let alone a MOC. Can it even be explained in words? Pardon my ignorance here.

I'm sure we all remember seeing this amazing contraption. LEGO Mindstorms "Pinball Machine" Now that was way back in 2005. Here's a vid on YouTube that was posted in 2010 for a LEGO NXT Pinball Machine. Pretty darn impressive. Here's a link to a CUUSOO project for a smaller but similar idea. LEGO CUUSOO - Pinball Machine Now there's a thought, what if LEGO actually created a pinball set? I don't necessarily mean a full-sized table (god knows how expensive that would end up being) but how about a small table-top pinball machine? It would still end up being a bit pricey but could at least be more affordable compared to actual pinball machines, old or new. I…

How often do you buy LEGO sets just for its bricks? If you are a MOC builder or buy used sets that don't have complete pieces, do you go out and buy sets just to get a section of your MOC done, or to finish the set.
