At yesterday's toys r us in Oshawa, they had Lego Chima 30256 Iceklaw, 39 pieces for $5.99, ninjago 30291 Anacondrai Battle Mech, 43 pieces for $5.99 , City Arctic Scout 30310, 39 pieces for $ 3.97 and Elves 30259 Azari's Magic Fire, 27 pieces for $4.99. All prices are in Canadian currency. Anybody find anything else besides the ones mentioned above?Thanks, John

Does anyone sell on amazon.ca here? Is it just me or does the lego prices on the Canadian site vs the American site seems ridiculously over priced? Is there a reason for the outrageous pricing (unless it is sold by Amazon directly)? For example - .com vs .ca Pet Shop $224.98 vs C$396.23 Family House $94.99 vs C169.99 I am sure we can go on with the list. I understand the exchange rate... but the premium on .CA is well over the exchange rate. I am just curious if sellers actually move any inventory on the Canadian site.

Got an e-mail this morning telling me to "check out our new shops!" and noticed the LEGO logo there, sure enough i checked the airmilesshops and LEGO Shop at Home is one of them. Not a huge deal really, but certainly something to keep in mind. To take advantage of this you have to shop through the airmiles shop link by logging in to your airmiles account and accessing it through the website.

Just to let you know, at my local LEGO Store in Laval, there are discounts on a few sets that are NOT on discount on shop.lego.com. For instance, some of the smallers sets of Super Heroes line, a few of the TMNT sets and some Friends sets (including Olivia's House 3315). The discounts are 20% off. Of course, no discount on exclusive sets...

I like the polybag but what has everyone been buying to get it while sticking close to $75 threshold? I'm getting bored of just buying VW T1 and would rather spend less to get a few more of these polys.

Many Costco's have the F1 Technic 42000 on for $99.99. I don't expect they will last long. Ajax Costco had about 30 left and over half were sold.

Popped in this weekend for their Star Wars weekend and they had a deal if you spend $50 you get a free Darth Revan or red arm C3PO ploybag. Took Revan naturally but my son was with me and wanted it for himself. Is it wrong that as I watched him beat up Jedi figures with it I was picturing a wad of $20s in battle? I sold 2 a few months ago for $60 each. I guess there is a price on a child's happiness.
