I took a break from writing reviews and found some deals for y'all! The following items are on clearance at Walmart.ca: Krang's Lab $15 TIE Fighter $50 Mobile Police Unit $50 Heavy Duty Police Helicopter $50 Select Hero Factory $10 And the big one: Warp Stinger $20 (half price!) it is out of stock online but still available at many stores Interestingly, all LOTR sets have been pulled from the Walmart website. My local walmart had some new sets on clearance today. Best deal deal was the wizard battle for 38% off. the other sets were so so, 20% or less.

Looks like Walmart in Mississauga Ontario has some deals, ie. LOTR Pirate Ship Ambush for $80 and a couple of smaller superman/batman sets at 20%-30% off. Wish this was in my hood!

For those that can't/don't/won't go through some of the hassles of getting international deals in Canada, Walmart.ca has eight sets in stock on clearance. Nothing really to write home about, but if you are hesitant to order from Amazon.co.uk and rarely/never cross the border to get US deals, this might interest you. Most of these 'clearance' prices bring them around US MSRP.

Walmart recently updated their online (and in store) Lego clearance to include quite a few more items. Many of the 2nd wave LOTR sets are included, and some remaining 1st wave Hobbit sets. I've noticed several times now over the last month or more that LEGO has specifcally highlghted as an exclusive from their sales. Latest example was an email I got today for 20% toys. Sure enough, LEGO excluded. It never used to be excluded from sales, from my recollection.

Yeah so ive been watching the series 13 bags like a "hawk" waiting to pounce at the first sign of sale or clearance prices. Well i thought i was a hawk but now when i look everywhere i dont even see them for sale even at regular prices anymore. I swear i was checking a few stores which included london drugs and TRU almost daily. then one day they all got replaced by series 15. O.o and even then series 14 are almost gone from my local TRU and still no signs of sale or clearance $$ do they go that fast or was I a sleep at the wheel? Did anyone else see them on sale at all and where what province?

With the new big box retailer Target just about to put its footprint into Canada, the question is up?! Will these stores have Lego sets for sale and will the famous variety/discounts/price matching be available to us? Or it is going to be the same $%*ty selection/pricing here in Canada than Walmart and the others have...?!

I've been to a few locations in Toronto and they have some Ninjago and swamp police sets for 25% off. I used to find good lego deals at a few places fairly regularly over the years but now they just seem to get a handful of sets for the holidays and that's it.

Was in Canadian tire last night browsing and came across the LEGO section 20-50% off. There were some good buys (ISD, ATAT, Pirate Ship). However a few other locations i checked had no sales at all, and some were only like %20. Online price does not reflect the in store price as well. Picked up a couple ATAT's

At my local Superstore (Loblaws), they had Lego Movie Batmobile (70905) on clearance for $52.44 and The Riddler Riddle Racer (70903) for $27.88 - both ~30% off with multiple copies available. I left them there but was tempted... If they have another weekend "no tax"event soon, it might make it worthwhile, but still borderline...thoughts anyone?
