Just noticed this. For anyone who would like to capitalize on this one, only 3 left as of posting this! http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00ATX7JS4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 EDIT: Should also note that this is the cheapest price I have seen in Canada. Hopefully someone here can grab the last one(s)!

  2. Just noticed that there are only 3 sets per theme on the site, and they do not have half of the new sets for each theme at all. No Dul Guldur battle, Council of Elrond, Laketown, etc. Very weird.

I'm sure there were cheaper clearance prices at other retailers but saw the decent sale price of $14.98 CAN vs regular $24.99 CAN so called for availability...wanted to buy 2-3 to get closer to free delivery but rep said only one left. Ended up added in Baxter Robot Rampage and 2 Decorating the Tree on sale to get free delivery. My 4yr old will enjoy the 'x-mas tree' build and police atv free polybag.

  4. It's that time again, when Toys Toys Toys inflates their already high "sale" prices by 20% and then has a 40% off sale. Basically the price comes out to what Toys R Us would charge when they have one of their 20% off sales. I typically wait for the Toys R Us sale as they have more selection, but those can be months apart, and Toys Toys Toys does have some sets that are EOL or about to be so I picked up the last 2 X-wings, 2 Mines of Moria, and 2 Unexpected Gatherings as in my experience these are becoming hard to find anywhere now. Even still, there are a few Mines and Goblin Kings, 2 Attack on Weathertops, 3 Jabba's Palace, and 6 Unexpected Gatherings left at this locati…

I was at the Toronto Legoland to finally buy my personal SSD and they have 10 Orc Forges on their shelf in mint shape from what I saw. If I hadn't cleaned them out of that many 2 months ago I would have taken them. Happy hunting fellow Canucks.

  6. Hi fellow Canucks, As of this morning and for the rest of the week sears.ca has some pretty sweet deals on some sets that are listed as 'sold out' on the S&**** website and are likely retired. Several of these sets are selling for more (in some cases quite a bit more) on ebay and amazon.com, which makes them about as low risk as can be for an investor. Add up your sets to $100 and apply the coupon code 941612305 to get another $10 off, which brings some of these sale prices to around 40% off. Use your sears store card to pick up extra sears points, or another reward card in your wallet. Make sure to use ****** or another promotional offer to get another…

I'm gettign ready to watch Can. vs. Fin. and checking out LEGO deals and I noticed that Amazon.ca has matched the Sears price on several sets. Rancor Pit, Olivia's House & JEK-14's Stealth Fighter among them. Since you can use the $10 coupon with Sears over $100, amazon.ca only makes sense if you wanted to order just a set for yourself to build and your order is under $100 AND you wanted free delivery. With Sears orders, I think it is $12.95 for house delivery, and even $3.95 with ship to store (which I always go for so I can check out my boxes all at once) so if you're only ordering a single set, this would be the way to go. Still, I'm excited that maybe, ma…

Hey fellow Canadians! Seeing as Boxing Day is right around the corner on Dec 26th I thought this might be a good place to post any upcoming Lego Boxing Day deals. A lot of places have already released their Boxing Day adds, so lets work together to share the best upcoming deals you see so far! I do know Sears will be offering Buy 1 Get 1 Free on ALL TOYS. (in store Only) Haven't seen anything else yet that really caught my attention tho.. Have Fun!

Retail price is $90 up here so this is a good deal. I'm not big on the set myself but my son is so I bought one. If someone else gets it for him for Christmas I'll hold it for resale.

  10. Started by Veegs,

I see someone - probably one of you brickpickers! - scooped up the Dirt Bike Transporters earlier today. I saw it for a second at work but was busy and now they are sold out. That being said, most of the sets that are currently 20% off qualify for another 20% off with the code on their homepage. The Rancor at $48 is pretty solid (for Canada, not like the Amazon.com BF sale) and a couple other sets are worth a gander. I tried to stack this with other promo codes (yeah, even though it says you can't...no harm in trying) but they sadly didn't work like DNIM's 90% off stacking at B&****** today. Heads up there are some BOGOs at Sears.ca tomorrow, too. …

I got this sent to me in my weekly flyers. They have a decent selection of LEGO near me (Windsor, ON) and since they haven't really had any amazing deals compared to other retailers (at least in Windsor) they have some stock left. I'm hoping to grab a couple more of these coupons in my friends' flyers, although you can also print it online, and have my wife also grab some LEGO. Last week they still had some close to EOL or 'sold out' on S&**** sets, so might be worth a look.

My father-in-law knows I love Lego and was cruising the Target at Westmount Mall in London, ON. He came across 50% off Attack of the Wargs and Shelob Attacks, which is basically what TRU.ca had as their Black Friday sale (although they backordered me and never delivered the actual sets). Anyway, I was at the Windsor location yesterday and they didn't have these on the shelves at all, and my father-in-law bought the three Wargs in London, but for those of you not in these cities, might be worth a stop at Target on the way home from work. I also think one of the bigger Creator Sets was 50% off, but he couldn't recall the name of it. Happy hunting!

Hey Canucks, just went to TRU to cash in my $15 off promo card...obviously bought some Lego on sale...they have another promo on right now as 'early bird' (before 10am) for today and tomorrow. When you spend $80, you get a $30 off card for min $60 purchase in Jan 10-30th. Not bad.

Found another decent deal. Not crazy hot but will save you a few bucks if you want certain sets. You can take $20 off your $100+ purchase when you use promo code 941612369, or you can take $50 off your purchase of $200+ when you use promo code 941612370. This deal becomes good when you stack on top of current 20% off sets. Some decent SW (and City) sets on sale currently at 20% off include the following so buy multiples and stack the $20 or $50 promo code. Mandalorian battle pack Endor Rebel Trooper and Imperial Troopers battle pack Duel On Genonosis City Garbage Truck City Starter Set etc etc...more I'm too lazy to list haha. Again, from my experience mak…

This might be the first year that I have seen a really decent Black Friday deal north of the border on LEGO. I have no qualms about this set at 50% off (even if it is 50% off CAN retail...) It looks like in store you can get a free poly as well, and if you spend over $100 you get a $15 off $50 purchase for your next purchase. All in all, not too bad! In a perfect world I would grab two or three bundles of 4 each to get the $15 card. Also, the Creator Highway Pickup is a solid deal for Canada. Amazon.ca had them for $75 - this will be a nice savings. I'm not huge on them for investing, but I'd like to pick up one or two for my personal collec…

So did anybody try for that ridiculous trade in today? I heard the lineups were crazy and didn't bother... To those who don't know, a retailer in Canada (futureshop) was offering to trade ANY current generation console game for a free copy of Battlefield 4, AC4: Black Flag, or Call of Duty: Ghosts. Lineups were just insane for it since some people traded in games they found in a dumpster for this (and futureshop subsequently took it). Here are the pics from Financial Post: http://business.financialpost.com/2013/11/09/boxing-day-like-pandemonium-at-futureshop-and-bestbuy-locations-after-free-game-deal/?__lsa=0202-5723
