Wondering if anyone ever had this happen. Picked up a MMV off ebay for $89 with free shipping. I then get an e-mail from the seller stating they accidentally shipped two of the same set and I was welcome to keep the second if I sent a payment for $75 once both were received. He also asked that I not refuse the deliveries. He stated that the boxes would be coming directly from LEGO and he has sold over 300 of this set. Sound too good to be true? Using a stolen credit card? I will check the packing slip when the boxes arrive. Should I call LEGO when I get them?

Dagobah Set Exclusive at SDCC 2015 Yes, please! Actually, this will be just as impossible (for me) to get at SDCC as the Celebration VII set. I'll be BL'ing this one as well.

After some sorting & organization I realized that I've got way more of the 9489 SW Battle Packs than I thought I did. In general I was curious if anyone finds it beneficial to selling large lots of these types of sets together for army building or is it more profitable to sell individually? I'd certainly rather wrap one box vs nine in my case but if there is more to be made by nine different sales so be it.

I have been contemplating selling my used copy of 10179 because I would like to use the money for soon to be EOL'ing sets. One has to think that the cap for this set HAS to be coming at some time. At its current prices ~$1400, I do stand to make some money. Is this crazy talk? I love the set, but really don't have anywhere to display it where it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb, and could use the money to buy several sets that would, in turn, appreciate.

Title says it all, but this purchase is more for collecting/building than for investing. I like both trilogies but I lean towards the old trilogy. Can't decide even after reading lots of reviews which one is a better buy. Thanks.

All complete Star Wars with minifigs just used. Another question would this be good too hold on too or just "flip"? Any quick advice hes waiting for my response before he leaves for out of town work. Thanks in advance

I want a Slave 1. Should I go with 6209 or 8097? Is there another one I'm forgetting? I would appreciate info from anyone who has built either set. Or if you guys think I should go with Jango's ship instead, let me know. I was admiring my Lego displays today, and it hit me that the Slave 1 is the only iconic star wars ship not represented in my collection. So, which is your favorite?

It is the single most amazing thing I have ever seen. I just don't think, even at the number of pieces, I ever really appreciated how massive this thing is. It's insane. I have a Tower Bridge which is just over 4.2K pieces, but its half the size. I have never seen the Taj Mahal, but there is just no wonder that this is the Holy Grail in terms of Price (not necessarily gain). Sadly, the person who showed it to me has really fallen out of Lego and has it in his attic (Along with other sets probably worth 10-15K). I am trying to talk him into letting me display it at my house (I am sort of family, cousin by marriage). I think I would design a whole room ar…

Which do you prefer and why would be nice to see. I myself prefer old trilogy sets simply because they feel more iconic, but that may be just me since i grew up watching Star Wars and renting it every weekend watching it (together with Jurassic Park)

A while ago i build the 10221 SSD and also posted it somewhere around here. In my mind i thought it would be a nice idea to decorate it with small Tie-Fighters and a micro Tantive, Tie Bomber. Every brick for this arrived today. I am dissapointed with the result myself but i decided to share it here anyway. It was dark outside, photos are kinda darkish. Sorry for that.

I've been sitting and staring at my pile of: 1. Kylo Ren Shuttles 2. Tie Fighters 3. First order Transports 4. Clone Turbo Tanks (not part of the official movie release but released around the same time) 5. Tie Strikers 6. AT-TE Postulating about the possibility of a 75012 Gunship or 75054 AT-AT in the making. I know there is a lot of hate out there regarding the sets released around this time but humor me My gut tells me that First order transporter is going to be the dark horse of the sets. Tons of minifigures, quite unique and looks good. Clone Turbo being a close second based on its design and playability.
