I love this little boxes of joy. I keep telling myself I am going to pull all those years worth out and do something with them to decorate then I think about having to sort all those little ships back into the correct box. Have you decorated a tree with them? Share some pics of these sets in action. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/lego-star-wars-advent-calendar-75340 I'm not to sure about beach wear Vader but I love me some holiday droids and tiny ships. How many B1 battle droids do we have from these sets anyways? Nice execution on the Republic Gunship and the Bad Batch shuttle. i will be dropping my order on the 1st.

https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/republic-fighter-tank-75342 Leaked a few days before showing up for pre-order, the fans are not excited. I am not either. I don't even remember the Republic having hover tanks in the movies or cartoons. Must have been just busy-ness on the TV screen in the background. Mace Windu has never really impressed me either (top light saber swordsman, blah) and having a few different color accented clone troopers is not enough for me alone. At only 262 pieces, but with 6x mini-figures (yes, I'm counting the 2xB1s that will be destroyed in play) for $40, the price point may be okay if you are one that re-sells in pieces once you bore of i…

Aside from being a sleek ship, what caught my attention was the new "classic" styled windscreen in trans-black.

https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/tie-bomber-75347 By itself, this looks like a great ship. But as soon as you display it with the new Interceptor, the Solo movie TIE Fighter, or the TIE Defender from Rogue One, well, it becomes underwhelming. It's a nice build with some play action shooters and drop-able bombs with what appears to be a hatch that could open and close (it does not completely close up but does pivot). The cockpit is also not truly clear so you cannot see the pilot inside it, the window is built up behind it to allow it to swing up to open. A pilot will fit inside though. It was a fast build and sue to symmetry, it was easy to do both wings at the…

https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/mandalorian-fang-fighter-vs-tie-interceptor-75348 I bought this set mainly for the TIE but also for the figures. The TIE Interceptor seems to be about the same scale as the TIE Fighter from Solo but does not scale well with the new TIE Bomber set which just seems to be too small. The Interceptor looks fast and deadly. I love it. The Fang Fighter was a boring build and is not that exciting of a craft, I don't even know if it will get displayed. It's just white and light gray panels. blah.

https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/emperor-s-throne-room-diorama-75352 I did not own any version of the throne room until this diorama. Maybe the high price lured me in or the "diorama" aspect meaning I have an excuse since I'm a collector not a kid playing with legos. It was an easy build with several sections being symmetrical so I was able to build several assemblies at once instead of taking my time and enjoying the break from adulthood. I chose to pose my figs as father and son dueling. How many of you went the evil, painful version of the emperor hitting Jedi Luke with lightning? Lego did a good job on the window build and I like the hidden co…

Well, its underwhelming largely due to the size when compared to the figures. When compared to Shin's starfighter, it does not look good and those two ships appear in the same engagements. The main body of the shuttle has panels that open on both sides to reveal compartments that look like sleeping areas of beds but when used, the panels don't really close well. I actually have a hard time just getting Sabine's helmet to fit in the larger area beside where lightsabers are supposed to store. The rear turret is not even remotely possible to use with a figure. It looks well for scale but if the shuttle is meant to be played with, no one is going back there. …

https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/new-republic-e-wing-vs-shin-hati-s-starfighter-75364 Yes, its another two star-fighter set so you can duel but the really nice thing, I thought, was three major villains from Ahsoka's mini-series. At $109.99 USD, I was hesitate to not wait for a sale but I figured 4x figures, an astromech and two ships, I will chance it. The ships cannot be any worse than the Mandalorian Fang, can they? Both ships are solid builds with some hidden storage space inside although the E-wing's storage probably could have been left out to make the cockpit a little deeper. Why is everyone piloting ships these days laying down! No place to put the …

https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/lego-star-wars-advent-calendar-75366 Looks like it is a ROTJ and Mando themed set this year. Hightlights include: a white ewok on a glider, old Palp'y in the ugly sweater and a throne that might be better than the diorama version (not sure yet), Leia in poncho with a terrible speeder bike, a micro AT-ST, a super micro ewok village, the power dish the rebels had to destroy, a bunker entrance, an Imp Shuttle, a Christmas colored repair droid, a GONK with antlers, Mando's N-1 starfighter, and some Separatists droids. I love these sets and will again state I intend to pull years and years worth out of storage and decorate with but …

If you replace the stormtrooper helmet and remove the empire insignia, this could easily be a sort of imperium patrol mechsuit for a cyberpunk city build. I have been in a such a "mech mood" lately and this activates all my actuators. Haha.

The price point seemed high so I bought it during a holiday 20% discount sale for $63.99 USD. Up front, I like the build. She seems sturdy and has the hidden Easter eggs for Leia giving R2 the plans which you only see during the build. The ship has a lot of gribble for this scale. I think if I was reducing my collections, my second version UCS ship would be on the market. My wife bought me a variety of the "Light My Bricks" sets (a different topic) and that company has a light kit for this set I may purchase.

The ship looks okay, it has lots of flat panels and gribble. The figures are fine. I only bought it for Saw's 25th figure because I am OCD. I had the original version from 2001 era and sold it years ago so this does fill a gap in my ship displays but the ship itself did very little on screen and is really a backdrop as compared to an x-wing or falcon or the Queen's shiney starship that has yet to be lego-ized. Play factor, the ship meets my expectations with firing launchers, a bay for the tiny probe droids that allows them to deploy and space for Maul's scooter. Maul does not have a pilot set unless the scooter is not in the ship. the winglets fold in and out. Th…

You bought it for the figures? Basically, yes I did. This was another holiday 20% discount set purchased a few weeks ago. If you watch the YouTube reviews, its all about the stickers. There are a lot of them to keep aligned, to include four curved pieces and four sets with the planetary diagrams. The set has some figure turning play features and some sort of lever that I suppose could launch Ezra towards the Chimaera or just have a figure fall over. My imagination is failing me on it. It's a nice display for a diorama, Lego could have wrapped the bought in black, added a panel with a pithy quote and charged us for a diorama. The black stickered slabs do look nic…

I am a sucker for these small play sets that display well and as many others I wanted to expand the length of the hallway by adding on from a second set. However, I think simply reversing set two creates a mismatched look. The Tantive IV boarding scenes from ANH and Rogue One's similar scene are iconic to the SW's story. Audiences were introduced to Vader, the Empire, the Rebellion technology, star ships, and more all within minutes. You were hooked. Now we can finally have a small piece of this for the book case, the play area, the work place's cubical, wherever. Finally, Lego has delivered. Price-wise, the set is phenomenal. Six figures plus the ARC Troope…

What can I say, it did not come with the UCS barge and the price is higher than expected. I have had the prior version on display for years in my office. The new build is improved in appearances but this version does not have as much space to place figures, lacks studs on the deck like the USC kit and Luke's plank is lacking studs on the end. I moved a L-shaped 1x2 from the bottom to the edge of the plank so Luke could stand at the edge. This version includes Lando in disguise, the last version provided a weequay or some sort of henchman to be the pilot/driver. The Sarlacc is much bigger than prior versions. I suppose that's good but I thought the last versio…
