I wanted to hear your guys thoughts on this set. I've been in the market for a used one now for a while. What would your price be on obtaining one? I don't see this set being remade any time soon despite the ucs x-wing remake.

7754-1: Home One Mon Calimari Star Cruiser This set retailed for $109.99 in 2009. You can still get it for less than $100 on eBay. 789 pieces & 6 minifigs. It was a Fan's Choice Anniversary Edition. What do you guys think? Looks like a cool set to me. Time to buy?

As part of their official plans for SDCC 2012, Lego is going to unveil the Rancor Monster Pit set on Saturday. I can honestly say that this has been my dream set since I was a kid and now as an AFOL I can afford to buy it. I wonder if it will connect to the new Jabba's Palace set and make use of the trap door. I figure since The Urukai Army set and Helm's Deep connect that their might be a chance of this connectivity. What do you guys think? Rancor Monster Pit

Just noticed that this has been uploaded to brickset database. https://brickset.com/sets/75187-1/BB-8 Based on uploaded info doesn't look like a UCS set in the same scale as R2. Shame. Looks like I'll be bricklinking Anios MOC.

I thought it was about time to finally create two more editions to my minifigure wall from my favourite Films! These have been a few months in the making and a lot of thought and deliberation has gone into which figures to include and from which sets. I've tried to go 'rare' where financially possible and wanted 21 figures for each frame. The only one I would look to change at present is to remove Ugnaught and replace with Admiral Piett from the UCS SSD but I just couldn't warrant the price tag this figure holds. I'd love to hear from you guys regards what you would have done differently. I went for the following, enjoy the pics: Empire: Vader - UCS De…

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere, I couldn't find a related topic. Anyway, this is now selling on Amazon here in the U.K. for £28. It's creeping up in price quite nicely.

Part of the Orlando Celebration Day, Panel focused around complexity of the development process of Lego Star Wars Theme. Long but very interesting indeed.

Here's an article that contains the first look of the cast from the new STAR WARS: Rogue One. After reading the article, it made me think that we will see Darth Vader again...and the old X-Wing...and the Death Star...and the Imperial Star Destroyer...and the Super Star Destroyer...and the...

LEGO press release about their SDCC booth made its rounds today on the internet: "Other activities include the unveiling of a 2015 LEGO Star Wars set..." http://www.thebrickfan.com/full-lego-booth-details-at-san-diego-comic-con-2014/ Looks like it won't be long before we find out what the UCS Slave I looks like! (Or on the off chance that it's some other unexpectedly awesome set...)

Description from this set as found on Brickset: I had high hopes for this set and am very pleased with the results. Rey, BB-8, Unkar Plutt, Teedo and another Jakku Thug are included along with Teedo’s Luggabeast which is mainly brick built but includes some new leg elements which are articulated independently. This model measured about 15cm in length. I cannot comment on the quality of the minifigures as they were not shown. Unkar Plutt’s junk shop at Niima Outpost also appears in the set and looks as ramshackle as it is in the movie. A couple of small huts and tents are spread across a 16x16 plate and a 8x16 plate along with lots of small assemblies whi…

note: we can use this topic to save as the lego set placeholder for the rumored Slave 1 appearance in the film, "Rogue One : A Star Wars Story". Not much is currently known but a combination of being time for a non-UCS Slave 1 refresh and the picture below, tends to make many (including myself) believe a new version is coming. the pic below is from the "2016 International Toy Fair" in Nuremberg and written in German.

Although not a real favorite among the Lego Star Wars AFOLs, the 10215 Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter is on sale at Lego.com for $59.99. A good deal for a Ultimate Collectors Series set that will probably be discontinued soon if it is being discounted so heavily by Lego. Normal MSRP was $99.99 and this is a set I paid $100 for months ago. Here's the link: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Obi-Wan-s-Jedi-Starfighter-10215

HELP - LEGO 7662 RESEAL? So im in a bit of a bind.... one of my favorite sets of all time is the Star wars 7662 MTT Trade Federation. I took it down to look at it today and noticed something rather worrying about it. it appears that one side of the box looks like it has been resealed. The tape used is the exact same as lego, with the black rectangle on it, and safe texture and all. i have included a picture, please let me know what you guys think - i am debating opening it now to check for parts. Also....any idea what it would do to the value if i opened it to confirm contents? - still left all bags seal…
