Not Lego related but just thought this was a great ad and funny video. Any action movie would look amazing on this. Maybe in a couple yrs most/many of us can afford it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynvKWYvyCqw

I just wonder how that would happen - opened box but sealed bags (all of them). Instructions and stickers are there, looking as good as they could. I see such sets on ebay from time to time, the sellers seem to be reliable and the prices are ok too. Any idea guys? Thanks! If I missed any mentioning about it here - I'd appreciate a link to it

If you were giving an AFOL a lego gift based solely on which dragon was the coolest, what set would you give? Friend loves dragons, new AFOL. I have Lonely mountain & Ender's game sets I can give them, but I do not build these kinds of sets and have no value judgement to rely upon here. Thx for ur help.

Hi! I'm a mom of three small boys, soon to be four and all of my kids love Legos! I've really been struggling with how to sort the Legos into their sets so that they can pull out the boxes one at a time and build from the booklets without having to dig through a huge tub to find the small pieces. I finally solved my problem! I got this box at Michaels and it works perfectly for sorting the small sets. And the boys actually keep them separate too. We still have a box of regular bricks so they can build creatively, but I love this as my kids will sit and build one set from the instruction booklets. The case was originally $40, but this week it's on sale for $20. …

  5. i need the cash to fund the recent Dec 2 Target and Amazon Lego purchases. there will be a small mark-up to cover sales tax, paypal fees, waiting in-line for it, etc... the console is sealed and was never removed from the black box. a buyer from the Philadelphia area would be ideal but i would mail it (if needed). sitemail me if interested. mods - let me know if this post is a problem.

Don't dare escape the Lego franchise for hacks, but these guys are legit! http://www.oyosportstoys.com/ Has anyone researched the value in the Market Place for these? My wife has been buying me the entire Seahawks NFL limited edition series and I keep them absolutely sealed. I am from Seattle and we have a heck of a season behind us and great future on the horizon. Franchise records and more... Ohhhhh, They get pulled out on game day as a good luck charm and I whet my appetite for the entire team to be released along with coaches but I am curious if anyone is aware of these even a little bit? I bought one to open out of curiosity and they are spectacular lit…

Hi everyone, I need some help from LEGO enthusiasts! I'm making a short educational film where I would like to construct a brain out of LEGO. What I'm after is some brick-sourcing and construction help from LEGO enthusiasts. I'm happy to pay you for your time and bricks. I don't necessarily need to keep the bricks, the brain could be dismantled after we build it. I'm planning on filming in the Playa Vista area of Los Angeles on either Sunday 29 June or Monday 30 June. I realize this really short notice, so if there is any advice you can give, like where I would buy bricks from, it would be hugely appreciated. I'm a freelance science educator tr…

Since getting a table saw, cutting items to exact measurements and straight (vs a circular saw) has been much easier and much more fun too. I've create the following over the past day or so and am basically down to the final phases (including gluing and nailing, I know the shelves are not straight in the picture). I'm leaning towards staining this cherry but figured I'd ask the community other preferences to make sure I don't overlook something I may like more. The majority of mini-figures displayed will be Star Wars. I also did this as a 4 stud deep to accommodate more mini-figures as it allows for them to be side-by-side if I really wanted to squeeze them in there b…

I am fairly new to paypal so they hold my funds for some time. My question to all the veterans is this, even though my funds are on hold can they be used to pay for auctions that I have won or do I have to wait for the funds to become available? Thanks for any help.

Ok so I've decided to change my primary email address (overall not just on paypal) and I found an option that I can add/change/remove existing (current) paypal email address that I use ... So the main question is: IF i change the current email address and write in new one and then delete the old one does this new email address becomes my paypal address which i give out to get paid?

Our apartment is home to tons of lego sets on display and now two kittens. our old cat had no intrestet in diplayed sets but young curiious kittens is another matter all together. so far the only steps we've taken is to remove all minifigs and light post from the modular block. it's only been 3 days and so far no problems. they have tried climbing the eiffel tower ( got up to the 2nd tier) and have waked all over the falcon and tower bridge, with no pieces falling off. wondering what steps members have taken to pet proof their displays?the sets are our personal collection and 99% sure they will never be resold

  17. We're moving house soon and I have been packing all my MSIB Lego sets into moving boxes. My wife saw almost all of what I have and said "Is that all Lego? There's more isn't there? :)" She wasn't angry! She actually smiled! I was so relieved. She's not going to divorce me. And once I started showing her some of the sets, she was enthusiastic about them. I felt a great weight lift from my shoulders. Maybe if she knew how much I'd spent, she'd go nuts, so I'll keep that quiet for now, but the sheer amount of Lego is not making her mad at me, so I'm pretty happy right now.

  19. I had the great pleasure of attending the four-day BrickCon Convention this past weekend, here in Seattle. Now in it's 15th year, BrickCon is one of the longest running shows in the country. It was my third year attending the full convention; I also visited the Public Expo three times before that.Los Angeles City Hall, by Bruce Heller. We had an amazing selection of LEGO models on display, about 25% more MOC's were registered this year than last year! My passion is LEGO Architecture, and I was rewarded with amazing models of the Norwegian Opera House, Los Angeles City Hall, and a massive model of Mont Saint-Michel to name a few.Mont Saint-Michel.Not to worry, there was …

  22. The Brick Fan is accumulating AFOL feedback for LEGO on their changed Rewards VIP system. I know many of us aren’t fans of the changed program. While there are some cool things about it, the checkout process has been degraded, some folks don't like the new Points to Money Spent formula, etc... Here is the link. Leave comments on his web site. Please leave comments as an AFOL there. LEGO likely doesn’t want to hear reseller-related feedback. https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-taking-feedback-on-lego-vip-program/ note : I also added a simple poll here. Which rewards system do you like better? Old? New? A combo? @tormentalous

Hi guys, Not sure if any of you remember, but there was a "Build a Better Piggy Bank" Contest on FutureAdvisor Blog, so I made an entry. If possible, please vote for mine. You need to have a Facebook account in order to vote. Mine is made out of Legos and is under the name Jacob Wu, which is my name. As you all know, I am really into Legos, as is everyone else here on BrickPicker. If I were to win any of the prizes, which are 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and Staff Pick, I would use it to expand my pretty meager Lego collection. Now you know that I have a good cause, and a purpose! What are you waiting for! VOTE NOW! Instructions: 1. Click on my name. 2. Opens a Fa…
