If you were giving an AFOL a lego gift based solely on which dragon was the coolest, what set would you give?

Friend loves dragons, new AFOL. 

I have Lonely mountain & Ender's game sets I can give them, but I do not build these kinds of sets and have no value judgement to rely upon here.

Smaug is by far and away the best, but I would go for the orient expeditions one if you want unique and bling.

Smaug hands down imo.  I just opened my lonely mountain and Smaug the magnificent is just that.  It's one heck of a lego figure.  It has rubber wings that fold.  It's huge!! 

I prefer to build my dragon

Well for me it will always be the Master Wu Dragon - I know, more brickish than the others you may say, but I think he's a beaut!

There are lots of Ninjago dragons OP might want to take a look at. Elves also has a few of them now.

Smaug is cool, just not much of a build... Thought about the red Creator set and Mast Wu's dragon as well.  Great suggestions. Thanks to all for the help

Lightning Dragon or Wu's Dragon.

kinda like the new elves dragon sets.  I know i'm sorry but i do.
