I don't know who this seller is but these are pretty cool. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181129917632 Reminds me of the good old days when we used to have to walk to the arcade, in the snow, up hill, both ways, without shoes. Not like you young whipper snappers that just have to turn on the WII or PS3 or Xbox in the comfort of your air conditioned homes.

The National Law Journal is reporting that the US International Trade Commission has given permission for LEGO to bring forth patent and copyright infringement cases against three competitors known for their own line of block construction toys which are MEGA Brands Incorporated, LaRose Industries, and Best-Lock Construction Toys Incorporated. From what I can make of the cases brought forth so far (I am still going over the document) LEGO is showing their signature "mini-doll" figure from the Friends line is being infringed upon by MEGA Brands with their "My Life As" line, LaRose's LITE BRIX line, and Best Lock's "Fairy Tale High Little Mermaid" line. LEGO is also provi…

Okay, so by "crafty" I'm not referring to those awesomely creative MOC-ers, nor those sneaky yet soulless resellers who like to take candy away from babies (kidding...) I'm referring to this! And this! How lucky those kids are to have such a crafty mom. Makes me want to break out the old crochet needles and start crafting up some brick-shaped granny squares.

Not sure who this will help but if you ship Priority Mail through the USPS and use Ebay labels (possibly others too) you can choose insurance at no charge up to $100 value. You can read more here: https://www.usps.com/ Hopefully this can help some as we all know the USPS likes to drop kick and step on packages from time to time. At least my mail carrier does. She has anger issues. Its probably all the packages she has to pick up from my house every day.

https://www.slashfilm.com/battle-at-big-rock-jurassic-world-short-film/ This short film is set between JW 2 and upcoming JW 3. "Here’s the official synopsis: The short takes place one year after the events of the last Jurassic World film in Big Rock National Park, where dinosaurs are now living in our world. The story follows a family of four whose encounter with these wild animals becomes a terrifying fight for survival Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ended with a fascinating cliffhanger: dinosaurs were set free and roaming around the United States. Jurassic World 3 won’t hit theaters until 2021, but you can see how filmmaker Colin Trevorrow capital…

Hello all! I'm a daydreaming builder. I love creating whole worlds (in my imagination) when I build with my LEGO. Instead of just making a little minifig, I make a whole back story and try to imagine where he comes from and what the world around HIM is like. I like to kind of turn my build experience into an almost MMORPG/board game feel. I like to have towns where the different minifigs can work/live in. I create a currency they can buy, sell and trade with. I also like to get other RL people to join in the fun! I can sit there for hours daydreaming and writing up ideas, drawing maps and sketching different races. I find this kind of play very rewarding! I d…

I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts this morning, and the subject of Lego came up. And that got me thinking - what podcasts does everyone listen to? What are your "can't miss" podcasts? In no particular order, here are mine: Doctor Who: Radio Free Skaro - Doctor Who-related podcast. One of the hosts is a big AFOL. I often wonder if he's on here. Comic Geek Speak - general comic book talk DC Radio - DC Comics specific podcast, discussing the new comics coming out each week Nerdist - lots of great interviews with celebrities Tales from the Jungle Cruise - Disneyland Jungle Cruise Skippers talking to other Skippers about adventures on the Jungl…

Just curious, how does Lego go about production of the actual pieces? Once the molds have been made they can crank out as many pieces as they need. The only decision is colors and quantities of each. I also imagine they have numerous molds of the same pieces so they can run multiples simultaneously as well in different manufacturing plants. The logistics of how many of one piece, what colors, how many different piece types that need to be made (on a continual basis) is quite fascinating when you think about it. How much surplus brick stock is in inventory at any given time ? Then there is the sorting and the bagging and the packaging. The actual machine…

I believe this is an original printing press / stamp used for LEGO advertisements or something? From my research i would say it dates back to 1950s or 1960s because the format of the "O" in the word "LEGO" changed to the more modern style after this time. It is metal on wood and measures approximately 4" x 3.5" Any information regarding this item would be great! Thanks.

Any tips on moving a short distance (~15 miles) with a fairly large collection of displayed sets? Not worried about my new sets, those are already packed up well enough to move easily... but suddenly my army of displayed pieces seems much more difficult to maneuver than I expected. This has literally been the most daunting part of moving to a new house, I don't want to take apart the sets only to rebuild after the trip but I don't want to lose pieces in the move either. Anyone have any tips or horror stories that I should know about? HELP!

http://brickset.com/article/22334 Interesting to mention his general disappointment in the recent LEGO releases. "The passion I once got seeing new set images is no longer there, whilst this year I have been very critical of a lot of products released by LEGO. This is why I felt it was in the best interest to find new owners who are bigger LEGO fans then me, to take over and inject fresh blood and passion into the site."

So the other day like many people I went to the Lego Store to pick up a 4x4 truck exclusive. Ended up buying 2. No hot dog stand left unfortunately but decided to get a Friends polybag just for the free ice cream stand haha. Staff was unprepared for some reason and thought the free polybag was some kind of cup cake display...really small so I decided to put back the polybag, don't really want/need it. There was a lady in the store too with 2 young daughters and she kinda freaked out saying that's the only reason why she came in today is for the ice cream stand Guess I could understand...driving here, parking, kids are let down etc. One of the rep was ca…

Does anyone know how to avoid the fees the USPS charges for sending oversize packages? Its called a balloon fee and if the package is over a certain measurement they tack on a fee. In my particular case it was an extra $12.00 on top of the original cost to ship a Palace Cinema.......lame!!!!!

I saw this the other day on Amazon.com along with the other new Star Trek sets. Some of them look pretty sharp to me. Anyone else feel the same draw to pick the iconic Enterprise or other assorted sets?
