Ha! Lego really is the answer to the world's important engineering problems. http://online.wsj.com/articles/keurigs-new-coffee-brewer-is-test-for-ceo-1408658445 Now, can it help us get around the DRM on these K-cups?

I'm trying to get some stamps for first class mail to ship out of France and the UK with self addressed stamped envelopes. If you are interested in making arrangements I would happily purchase some and pay for the time and effort.

Here I thought the sponge in brick form just dried up but instead find out that the license was acquired by Mega Bloks. Well I guess you just can't keep a good sponge down. Rather weird actually seeing the Invisible Boatmobile considering it is supposed to be, well, 'invisible'.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/city-of-edmonton-wins-international-award-for-lego-videos-1.2736551 Not cutting edge for the LEGO and MOC world but interesting enough for a mainstream project. Don't mind my tax dollars going toward something like this ;)

I just saw this and I must say, it's pretty cool. My cousin mentioned it reminded him of running in old first person shooters (like Quake and Half-Life) and I must say, that is exactly what it looks like to me but with much better texturing of course. http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/redmond/projects/hyperlapse/

I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts this morning, and the subject of Lego came up. And that got me thinking - what podcasts does everyone listen to? What are your "can't miss" podcasts? In no particular order, here are mine: Doctor Who: Radio Free Skaro - Doctor Who-related podcast. One of the hosts is a big AFOL. I often wonder if he's on here. Comic Geek Speak - general comic book talk DC Radio - DC Comics specific podcast, discussing the new comics coming out each week Nerdist - lots of great interviews with celebrities Tales from the Jungle Cruise - Disneyland Jungle Cruise Skippers talking to other Skippers about adventures on the Jungl…

Well it looks like Lego will be back at SDCC this year. The floor map has a fairly large booth for them. You can see the show floor layout at - http://www.comic-con.org/toucan/08sdcc-2014-sdcc-2014-exhibit-hall-map-and-exhibitor-lists-now-online I have heard that they are going to release a set of some kind perhaps the UCS Tumbler? I find it interesting that Hasbro and Mattel have announced their items but Lego has not. Not sure their normal timing. I wonder if they are going to switch give away and sale processes to avoid all the uproar over how last years was handled? Anyone have any information or rumors on what is to come?
