There is an updated version of the forum software coming. There are a few things in there I am really looking forward to having changed or access to. One major thing will be the speed of responding to busy threads. Right now, you can sometimes wait a minute or more to have your post made active while it sends the email out to everyone. The new forum basically just dumps the response into a queue and you post instantly. I don't know how they didn't fix this a long time ago, but at least its coming. I am going to be looking at and looking to clean out dummy, fake, bad accounts before I do the migration. Over the next few weeks, any of you that know that you are u…

When I started here everything was in dollars. Now we can choose between a number of different currencies. My problem is that when I change the currency my brickfolio is displaying in, the numbers stay the same. For example. 10197-1: Fire Brigade - Bought in shop for

  4. What title says I keep checking list of new topics on bottom of posts, only to realize it only tells me the most recent topics created, not most recent posts. I've been missing discussions in some topics this way. Maybe I overlooked it, but is there a way to look up most recent posts (regardless of whether it is new topic or existing), sorted by posted date?

Hello... Jeff and I are doing an interview with TV Tokyo today and we are still looking for a BrickPicker member in the New York/New Jersey area with a substantial LEGO collection they would like to show off. Here is your chance to be seen by millions of people. LOL. Let Jeff or I know. Thanks.

  7. Ed and Jeff, Is it alright if we consolidate a list of Brickpicker members' eBay IDs? This way, members can buy retired sets from other members on eBay which should increase the odds of a problem free transaction. I'm asking first due to privacy / policy concerns either you of might have.

I think this might qualify as a possible update to Brickpicker when there is a chance to do so? Don't get me wrong, Brickpicker is great but i am thinking about improving just a tiny aspect of it. Here goes. When downloading the brickfolio data as an excel file, is it possible to have the items to be downloaded listed in checkboxes. Meaning we can just check the boxes for items that we want to download and leave the rest in the system. All this so that we download a more sort of tailored list that each individual wanted instaed of going into excel again ande deleting columns and sorting...(not that difficult but...) If the above is too difficult for the progamer to do so,…

  10. help me out please ... after i log in from the main brickpicker.com site and try to go to the forums it doesnt take me there. page is all blank. the only way is for me to sign out again and then go to the forums main page. from there i need to log in to post but then i can only stay in one topic area/thread. if i try to navigate out to the main index it takes me to that blank page again. so i have to sign in and the out everything to view different topics and post. it doesnt matter if im on my ipad or a desk top. please help.

  11. On select sets, the Brickpicker Accountant Guide gives strategy on whether the specific set is a good or bad investment, and why. This is one of my favorite features on the site. I was wondering if there could be a complete section on this instead of just finding them randomly while searching sets? Or maybe there is and I'm blind? If there isn't, I think it would be highly beneficial for amateurs such as myself.

I feel 10 brickpoints is too low for a review with 1000 characters. Maybe 25 points will be more attractive? Just a suggestion. (I am about to write a few reviews, LOL)

Hi everyone. I'm trying to add a Lego Promotional Polybag set, but the Brickfolio does not know them despite being official Lego product and having the 5 digits on the bag. They are available for purchase only when we buy fuel at any Shell station in the Philippines, and was strictly enforced (gladly so), because I tried to buy them without purchasing fuel and all gas stations that I went to were adhering to the exclusivity of the promo (and I'm happy about that). Can anyone please help me identify them, as they might be known as something else? I've attached a photo of the set. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

All, I am sure that I am missing something obvious, but I am trying to post a build/review of the 10221 with embedded pictures and I cannot seem to find the toolbar on the "Posting a new topic" page. I am not on the mobile webpage and I know I have done it before, but for some reason it only gives me an option to attached files and not embed them with the text of my post. What am I missing?

I've noticed in the forums that some people have their brickfolios as their signature, showing most expensive set, amount invested, what themes etc. I'm just wondering how I'd go about doing this? I've searched everywhere, I think, and can't find anything!!! thanks

I have a friend from our church and he's got a huge LEGO collection but I don't think he knows about this site and I think he would like this place and to be able to see how much his collection is worth. We don't talk much in person but we chat over Facebook sometimes, so my question is if I sent him a link over Facebook would I get some brickpoints?

Hello everybody. I was thinking about how great this site is and came up with an idea for the owners of the site. If you guys read this could you possibly find a way to place a RETIRED logo next to the set as they retire. So when we are checking our brickfolio's we see which set just retired. Maybe even have a category within our portfolio that shows a retired section. Just food for thought. This site is fantastic and I use it almost everyday to feed my addiction for collecting legos.

I noticed that the value of my portfolio went down this month after the October update. I understand why, I have a lot of new sets which tend to go down in value before they go up. I am sure that you old hands understand all this, but it is new for me only having been a member for a couple of months. I also noticed that as I bought and added sets after the October update that my portfolio value went from negative to positive. That was my aha moment. In order to keep my portfolio value positive I need to adding sets to my portfolio. Therefore I went out and bought 15 Fangmechs for $19.99. The portfolio change is positive now. Lesson learned, don't stop buying LEG…

  23. Just launched a new page that will show what the Top 50 most sold sets on eBay were from our most current database update. It will be updated every time the database gets refreshed. This is a great tool to see what the trends of the current most popular selling items are. Perhaps you will see sets on there that you own and might want to part with, now would be a good time to sell those since they are hot with community. It's just another helpful research tool to see what's happening in the LEGO market. Take a look: View the Top 50 most sold LEGO sets on eBAY EDIT: Not only are the TOP 50 SOLD LEGO SETS on EBAY available at the above link, you can also see the TOP SE…

Hello, some of you might have noticed the new BRICKPICKER CHAT feature. Jeff and I are testing it out and seeing what kind of responses we get from members. We will operate it from around 12 PM to 12 AM (Eastern Time Zone) so that we can monitor it and see if warrants becoming a permanent site feature. Let us know what you think...and as always, behave responsibly and treat others the way would would like to be treated. Thanks...

  25. Curious if anyone thinks that there should be a forum called "Multi-media" or "Brick-Videos" something of that nature? Posting reviews (users), showing off our collections, rants and other videos related to LEGOs. Discuss!
