Those words were uttered to me today, by the clerk that rang me up at TRU today. She said that LEGO is a "high theft" item, and that they've had too many people buy LEGO at Target (in the same shopping center), and return it to them. So all sales of LEGO are final, and they won't take them back. I asked her if this was new, and she said that it has been their policy for awhile. Has anyone been banned from Toys R Us Online? I can place orders, but about 4 hours after I place them I get an email saying "We regret to inform you that we were unable to complete your order". It's been going on for about a week or so.

I was planning on picking up some star wars Lego tonight and since I don't currently have the TRU cc I was going to open one tonight. my question is will I receive 15% off my purchase tonight for opening the card?

When it closes it stores in your country 5 months after they open and you don't even notice for a month that they're gone, ooops. Memo to ToysRus, opening a store a few hundred metres from your main rival and charging 20% more than them, does not a business plan make.

Hi I am pretty sure some of us got shot down when price match to Amazon. What they explain to me is the Prime logo next to the price. So it's a membership only price. But for the member that had Prime all knew, that's not the case. What Prime gave us is 2 Day free shipping and video streaming. Does anyone know why TRU is doing that? because what they explanation is wrong. And on TRU.com, they still say they price match Amazon. So, any thoughts how we can still price match to Amazon and argue with them? Since I dont see anything officially release from the TRU Corp.

Not sure if this was posted but here goes. Went to my local TRU yesterday (Canada) to try and take advantage of there obvious mistake in an ad from there flyer. The Ad said" 25% off ALL* Lego, Star Wars and Marvel Electronics.". " * excludes LEGO dimansions, disney Infinity, movies, headphones and clearence. Selection varies." Over the summer, 8-13% discount gift cards were pretty common. Sometimes hardly worth buying in advance - wait until you're in the store and figure out how much you'll spend, then buy on the app. The last few months, % discount has been pretty low, 1-3%, and sometimes none available. I see they're creeping back up now, 4-6% range, saw a few 10% yesterday. Anybody been tracking the Raise cards long enough to identify seasonality / cyclical trends? I don't need data, just looking for insights. Mostly curious if we'll get back to plentiful 10+% discount. They sure do stack nice with a 20% coupon and 10% CC.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but I just got my TRU bill, and it says there will be 10% off in store on Saturdays when using the TRU CC, from November 7th to December 19 (similar to last year).

I couldn't find the mist appropriate place to put this, but does TRU historically have set deals throughout the year? Do people know when BOGO deals happen or annual sales, etc. Or do these things appear arbitrarily?

Any thoughts? Anyone else see these signs?

Why is it so hard to find old lego "hard to find" sets at toysrus, while target, amazon and even toysrus.ca, have plenty in stock? any thoughts on this?

anyone know why some sets get the Free Store Pickup Available in 5-10 day while other large sets do not? I noticed this recently on the DS and Architecture Studio. I know I have bought other no lego items in the past that gave this option, but this is the first I have seen on lego.

Been a couple weeks since the last real sale at TRU. Anything people are targeting tomorrow with the 20% sale + 10% CC + 8% reward point + GC combo? My local TRU's have jacked up the price of both Star Wars and DC sets 10% so I find it difficult to get excited about sets from those lines. They didn't raise the Friends sets though and the little animal sets (41087 Bunnies, 41088 Puppies, 41089 Foal) caught my eye. However, having boys at home I have no exposure what-so-ever to the Friends line.
