Amazon.com

Let everyone know when you find a great LEGO sales on Amazon.com

I tried...really I did. Ordered ONE Friends Dolphin Cruiser from Amazon. First delivery both the outer and inner box were stepped on. Second try, exterior box great, Lego box had ripped corner. Third try today...see photo. Note the gaping hole. Exterior box fine, but whoever packed it did not pay much attention. Amazon is going to make it right... but this is tiresome.

Hello All, I'm new to Lego investing but have noticed that Amazon's pricing across Europe seems really random even though it seems to come from the same central distribution centre. For example 10225 - Lego

Sorry guys, total newb here. I tried searching the forum and couldn't figure out the answer and I suspect this is something that every brick investor knows without needing to ask. Does Amazon.fr ship lego to the US? Even using google translate I cant figure out exactly what the problem is. I keep getting error messages that my order cannot be shipped to my location because of a restriction, but when I try and figure out why I end up going around in circles. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Looks like if you go to Amazon and scroll to the bottom to press releases, there is an article saying that they will now deliver Sundays to select areas with a greater expansion of the Sunday delivery in 2014. Just an FYI. I thought it was interesting. Maybe not necessary, but will be a good way for the USPS to pick up some much needed cash.

Anyone know why Amazon.com doesn't sell Lego Technic sets? All I see is sets being sold through third parties.

  6. For anyone who hasn't noticed, Amazon has raised the minimum for Free Super Saver Shipping from $25 to $35. This may affect the way some people here make smaller purchases. (This won't affect Prime members.)

Im not sure if this applies to other themes, but I've noticed the City themed boxes that I've gotten from Amazon UK have different graphics than City themed boxes that come from US retailers. For ex here are the UK and US boxes for City Excavator Transport. My question is, how do people handle this when posting listings? If all the other listings show the US box as their preview picture and I post the UK box for my preview picture, do I run the risk of buyers assuming mine is some sort of counterfeit ? Would I be better off using a stock photo instead? Do I mention the difference in my description? Or, am I worrying about nothing?

Hi everyone I would like to order something from an Amazon site in the EU, but I can't seem to find any explenations if they ship to other countries expect the one the amazon is from (like amazon.co.uk - UK, amazon.it - Italy). To be more precise I would like to order the SSD from amazon.fr, but I think they won't ship it to Croatia, where I'm from even though we're also in the EU (which should be one market). So I would like to hear your opinions and experience. Is it possible or not to order those kind of sets and have them shipped to different countries within the EU? The item is handled and sold by Amazon and not other retailers.

  9. Just received the following email from Amazon. Seems to basically mean that if you aren't already an established seller (and not using their FBA service) from before Sept 19th (a month ago), you won't be able to sell Toys & Games during the holiday season (until after the first week of Jan 2014), so if you were thinking of just selling sets for the holiday rush, you are essentially SOL. Seems like something to cut down on purely seasonal sellers (like Minecraft only last year) and/or scammers, etc. who don't have any actual stock. They don't want to piss off customers who order stuff which will never arrive. From a seller point of view, could cut down your…

  15. I feel bullied by Amazon. Lately when I order from them, their free "super saver" shipping has been taking forrrrrevvvvvver to get out the door. At the same time, their incessant yammering to join Prime has been ramping up on my Amazon screens, in my mailbox, etc. My 2 a.m. Pacific time conspiracy theory is that they're trying to bully me with redonculously slow shipping so I have no choice but to buy prime or suffer the, "hmm, we know we put your stuff around here SOMEWHERE" consequences. I was about to sign up for Prime anyway (it does make sense for as much as I buy from Amazon) but now they've made me feel like I'm negotiating with terrorists and I don't want to…

Just got a camel alert for 4204 The mine for $13. There were 13 in stock when I looked at details page but I got only one by the time I put it in my cart and checked out. Price has been adjusted to 96.00 now. What do you think, order will get canceled?

I cannot help but laugh over this. Amongst my last order from Amazon.co.uk was a few boxes of the 9461 Swamp Creature set. Instead of placing them in the box with the rest of the Lego, someone with a far greater intellect than I possess decided to put the sets into their dvd boxes. Needless to say they didn't fit properly, so needed to be pushed down a bit just to squish in.....

  20. Okay, I was looking through the Amazon price grid to then came across the Umbaran MHC and it stated the set was half off! I immediately clicked on the link and just as quickly was disappointed. It was for the wrong set. Not only that but the list price was incorrect and the sale amount is above real retail! I mean, look at this ridiculous malarkey! This is actually being sold by Amazon.com and not some third party seller. Here is the Amazon product listing to see for yourself. This is just laughable.

Shipping is $13.99 I know that's a bit steep but the final price is still $12 less than the lowest Prime offering with free shipping.
