Let everyone know when you find a great LEGO sales on Amazon.com

  1. Started by Dark Helmet,

Maybe this will be better suited in the rant section but Amazon feedback frustrates me. I am a new seller on Amazon and I'm finding out the hard way that Amazon is so feedback driven that it hurts new sellers. I'm unable to get into the buy box regardless of the price I set compared to other non-FBA because they have a higher feedback rating. It also seems that it is much harder to get feedback from sellers on Amazon then Ebay. I can only assume that is because everyone on Ebay knows how important it is to themselves and others while they just see Amazon as one entity instead of individual sellers. Just to compare I started selling on Amazon in June and have had 10 sale…

  4. Seems like a good deal, 30% off. As best I can tell it also has 4 exclusive mini-figs and an updated light saber color. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004P9739S/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004P9739S (edited for additional description and forgot the link)

  6. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/first-amazon-suing-companies-sell-192002335.html "The e-commerce giant for the first time has filed lawsuits against counterfeit sellers, after a number of businesses on Amazon voiced concern that knockoffs were killing their sales and endangering consumers." Could eventually help the reseller community by further weeding out the knockoffs. If nothing else, it shows that Amazon is willing to bend to the pressure of sellers if they get hit in great numbers. LEGO putting some pressure would certainly assist in this matter. Not that they may take initiative, but I messaged LEGO pointing to this new development. Maybe if enough of …

  8. I just found out AMZ has brand gated me to sell all LEGO products without any explanations, remedy or timeframe. I don't even have an "apply to Sell" button when I tried to add a product. I have been selling for years and over 1000+ sets and my acct health has always been in good standing with only a handful of returns. I really don't understand where this is coming from. Does anyone have a similar experience? Any help would be much appreciated. THX! Here is a screenshot when I tried to "request for approval": Selling Application We are not accepting applications to sell: Other $LEGO branded in New, Used, Refurbished, Coll…

Recently got request of return from one buyer stating the reason for return was "no longer needed/wanted - birthday present already purchased". Initially, I was about to reply and OK with the return but informed the buyer the refund would be minus the shipping cost and he or she would be responsible for return shipping cost. But then I realized the buyer purchased in early Nov 2015 and requested return after almost two months. I found it unreasonable and then cancel the request and indicated that the Lego set can only be returned if wrong item is shipped or defective item. The buyer replied that he or she still felt it could be returned and wanted me to …

Since there has been plenty of questions lately about the Amazon WH deals, I decided to post pictures of some of the set I bought from them, hopefully that will help address some of the concerns out there. Note that this is my own experience and that YMMV. Always pay attention to the product description-however that doesn't always mean that that is what you will get-and never ever pay over MRSP unless the set has been long retired or something to that sort. The Amazon WH price will depend mainly on : 1- The price of a new set that is listed on Amazon 2- The condition of the "used item Tower of Orthanc : 150$ (taped end) HH: 135$ (broken seals, complete)

  12. You can purchase the Vampyre Castle (9468) for $86.63 including shipping to the U.S. Amazon UK Vampyre Castle - 9468 for $86.63 shipped It is not a bad price, but not great. The main risk is damage to the box as I don't think you get free returns to Amazon.co.uk from the U.S. I've ordered from Amazon UK about 12 times and had slighlty damaged boxes twice, but not enough damage to make me return them, so I'm not sure how that would work out.

  13. Came across this on CNN today: http://money.cnn.com/2017/03/06/investing/retail-stress-great-recession-amazon/index.html?iid=EL Bold highlight is mine - You'd think perhaps if they had sold their Dimensions score for a few times higher, they could have paid off some debt?

  14. Quick link. Though it is another cop station, these woodland police were a new take on the whole thing so they could be worth someting eventually. Or not, I don't know really.

Some may be aware of this but Amazon will sometimes list Lego sets as "used" if the box has been damaged in the warehouse. These don't seem to last long and are limited in quantity but I have found some good deals. Jabbas Palace for 75.00 Helm's Deep for 94.00 Hulk's Breakout 39.00 (not as good a deal as the others but still nice) The boxes come somewhat damaged but the sets are complete and otherwise new. There is free shipping since they are still being sold by Amazon but due to the box damage Amazon will not list them as new. With Jabbas Palace and Hulk's Breakout I will simply part out the set, selling the minifigures on Amazon and the sets with no minifigur…

Does anyone have any experience with shipping Polybags to Amazon? I have a few of the polybag sets that I wanted to put up under FBA and wanted to know if shipping those as is was the general consensus, or do most people put those in another clear polybag to protect them? Thanks for the help, Ben

  18. Hi Fellow BPErs: I am new to selling Legos on Amazon. One of the unknowns for me is regarding the return rate for legos by customers. For those seasoned sellers, can you tell me at what rate do customers return their purchased Lego sets from your experience? I am talking specifically about self ship, although if you have info on FBA that would be great too. Thanks in advance for your help

  19. Received a Rancor Pit from Amazon yesterday. There's slight damage to the box - a nice crease on the top, and some denting on the front. If this was for a personal build, I wouldn't care. But I bought this to pair with a Jabba's Palace that I have. Wondering if I should ask Amazon to dispatch an exchange? Should I just hold on to it and not worry about it? Or should I contact Amazon CS and see what their suggestion is? What would you do?

I have $140 in credit card points so last night I was looking on Amazon for Helm's Deep. It has been around $150 from 3rd party sellers for a while if anyone has been watching it. But last night for about 15 minutes it was listed from Amazon for $129 (retail) saying it will be back in stock on January 31st. It has since went back to the 3rd party listing for $150. Anyway I was able to order one and the confirmation email states "In stock on January 31, 2013". Just thought I would share in case anyone is wondering if/when this will come back in to stock at Amazon.

Hi everyone I would like to order something from an Amazon site in the EU, but I can't seem to find any explenations if they ship to other countries expect the one the amazon is from (like amazon.co.uk - UK, amazon.it - Italy). To be more precise I would like to order the SSD from amazon.fr, but I think they won't ship it to Croatia, where I'm from even though we're also in the EU (which should be one market). So I would like to hear your opinions and experience. Is it possible or not to order those kind of sets and have them shipped to different countries within the EU? The item is handled and sold by Amazon and not other retailers.

Just got a camel alert for 4204 The mine for $13. There were 13 in stock when I looked at details page but I got only one by the time I put it in my cart and checked out. Price has been adjusted to 96.00 now. What do you think, order will get canceled?

  24. Last week I got a notice from the USPS that I had a package at the post office with postage due. The notice was to my business name, so I figured it was an Amazon order. I went back through all my Amazon records for the past 45 days and nothing turned up as not having been delivered, so I was really puzzled. I went to the post office and it was an Emma's Horse Trailer I sold on Nov. 15th. It was marked undeliverable, return to sender. I paid the $3.90 postage due, box was pretty beat up but the set inside was in perfect condition (just like I sold it!). Obviously the buyer didn't complain. I'm a bit disappointed with the postal service that it took more than 2 month…
