What do you think about it? It will be a winner after EOL?

Is this set a buy or no-buy for $106 (120 w/tax) -Canada TRU? I see this set sold out everywhere else...!

I normally always skip the technic. But this one got my attention. It's one the best set I've seen, but I've not seen a lot of technic, so I'm not sure it's a real "wow set". And I can buy it at 20% off, and I'm not sure if should buy it now or wait, since technic seem to sell slower

I really like the lego 9398 4x4. I think it'll be a great set after EOL. What does everyone else think. Also I failed to get in on the excavator before EOL. At the current price is it still worth it?

I am thinking about getting into technics for building and not for reselling. I wanted to get to get into technics mostly for learning and building a RC tank(s). 1) I think the best set to get to start out is the out of print Lego Technic 8043 Excavator for the tracks and RC components. 2) Lego Technic 4X4 Crawler 9398 - tons of motors but many usable pieces 3) Lego Technic Unimog U400 8110 - good mixture of pieces Considering the cost, where do you think i should begin learning about technics and my goal. Thanks for any help

Found not yet released 42000 Grand Prix Racer at Toys R Us today!! Went to three Toys R us today in MA area, one of them has two beautiful new 42000 Technic F1 sets!! I almost pulled the trigger, but I figured that I can get one at regular MSRP by waiting another two weeks. Wondering how Toys R Us got those "not yet released" set thought.

This honestly feels like a wierd question even to me, but pretty much what the title is asking. I'm trying to remember the last time I saw a TECHNIC set in a physical store. Is there some kind of 'new' spot that retailers decided to place the TECHNIC sets at and I just don't know? Where do you guys find the TECHNIC sets at your store? I feel lost here and could use some help, please.

Id like to buy this 9396 helicopter set, because i found it with a 20% less. Do you think it's a good set in terms of investment? Do you think it will have have a second life on the market after his retirement?
