  1. I'm not talking minifigures at @1.99 but regular-sized sets at $20-$30 or more a pop. If you order the limit of 99 are you on the ban list or do they ship them out without batting an eye? Thanks.

Does anyone think there's any reason for the difference in colors of the sold out status on SaH? One is red and the other is orange. Just kind of odd I guess...

Thanks in advance! So, here’s a quick story……moved a few years back and packed everything in ziploc bags. Never got around to pulling everything back out. I’m at a cross roads of opening back up my BL store or just selling off inventory but I’d really like to get a few ideas on storing the parts for resale. Is anybody doing this now and if so how are you storing your parts to fill orders? I just used storage bins in the past and was always a nightmare when you were trying to find what you needed. Thanks!!

Hi all Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere on forums. Haven't be able to find anything but please post link if it exists. So far all of my Lego investments are stored in the delivery boxes they arrived in. Half of these are direct from Lego SaH so are well packaged IMO. When storing should I leave them in the delivery boxes or take them out? Also should I be storing them on their ends or flat and on top of each other? Cheers Greg

Hey all- My house has pretty deep closet shelves. To this point I have been able to stack three to four sets one in front of the other (so essentially you only see the front set). This has worked out but has the disadvantages of not utilizes full space potential because storing horizontally take up about 20" per set, and also I can only see the front set. i would like to turn the sets sideways, increasing storage space dramatically, allowing me to see all of my sets, and only taking up a few inches of horizontal space per set. The problem is that by doing this I will overhang the shelf. If I stack the set vertically, the overhang is only 2-3 in…

  6. Hi. I got the Stranger Things Upside Down Lego set. Its super cool and loved putting it together. In the end though I noticed there is some stress with the model. Namely the roof doesn't like to stay on nicely. Also at the back middle it kinda pops open. When I look online I do not see this anywhere. I am curious if anybody might know where I went wrong? I feel like I put it together correctly and that if I didn't it wouldn't work at all. The image I attached should help. I'm curious if it could some how be in the foundation. Like something was offset in there or something ended up in there. From what I can tell no though because I can kinda push stuff t…

I didn't think this would be so difficult when I had an idea of how I wanted to display my minifigs. I want to display some standing on a studded floor and some attached to a back wall as they look better displayed with their backs to a wall. (It's the Muppets minifigs) I've looked at all kinds of display boxes and none really do the trick. I'm on the verge of just attaching 2 bases to a square rod but I'd like to see it as a wall and a floor. I even looked for hinges but can't seem to find anything that will allow studs on wall and floor. --this way I can fold the grid flat if I need to move things. I have a simple idea in my head but I can't execute it. I would reall…

With brickfolio all but dead, what are investors using to keep track of their sets and to get updated pricing. I have seen various options on Bricklink, Brickset and even some newer apps. I am just wondering what the community is using. There is always the option of going old school with a spreadsheet and manually check current values (too much work.)

  10. I bought a Lego set on ebay, the one with Queen Amidala (9499). It was listed as “NIB” and “You will receive one unopened set, still New In Box.” It just arrived and to my dismay, two of the seals were tampered with. There were fingerprints, and a few very small spots at the corner where the paint didn’t line up with the image below. Also, the tape isn’t sticking at one just one end (the other half after the corner is fine). I looked at it, fiddled with the lid, and then the lid just popped right open with the tape sliding off the box, barely any stick whatsoever and no additional peel of the picture off the box. I was so worried someone jacked Queen Amida…

  11. Hey guys, I wanted to get some advice from you experts. I recently purchased a lego from target. It has a target Security Sticker on it. I tried to remove it with hair dryer, but was not unsuccessful. I partially removed it, but once I saw the tape removed a tiny speck of paint I stopped away. If I leave the security sticker would it affect the price in anyway if I decide to sell it later? Thank you all in advance.

I don't know if anyone can offer an opinion on this. I am in the uk. My wife and I have got really into investing in Lego Over the last couple of years and it is great fun. we started by buying a number of large sets eg SSD and HH. Our plan is to hold large sets as we buy them for about 5 years. to help pay for the bigger purchases we started buying and selling minifigures and flipping smaller sets. We have set this up properly as a business and declared it to the inland revenue. The business has done well in its first year and I am clear that we will pay income tax on profits having done a tax return at the end of the year. My qu…

Hope this is the right place for this kind of question. If not, maybe someone can point me to the right forum. I've never tried a STEM-type build but realized an upcoming DIY project I'm planning would be amazing done in brick. Happy to provide more info if needed but, for brevity, my end goal is a motor and gear ratio setup that can do 6 Nm and between 120 - 300 rpm. (Anywhere near that range would be acceptable.) I never would have thought of going LEGO for this project but recently saw a video that used LEGO to twist a steel axle. I had no idea it could generate that kind of torque. Thanks for any help!

I bought a tub of lego at a rummage sale and it had a complete 10195 AT-OT walker and minifigs but no drop ship. Is there an easy way to order all the parts for just the drop ship with out having to type in every part number? Used parts would be best but I'd buy new if I have to. Thanks in advance.

I'm new to this site, so a big hello from Oregon. I have been buying Lego sets new for the past ten years or so. I purchase them for display. I know they have value so this site is very interesting on that level. Anyway, I have saved all of the boxes that the sets came in (modulars, trains, winter village). The question is do these boxes have any value so that I should keep them, or should I just save the space and recycle them?

I've tried to research ways to 'polish off' old transparent pieces that have been scratched to death, but nothing seems to work. I think I remember someone saying toothpaste, but that was not effective. Is there any known way of buffing out those scratches and getting it somewhere close to the original look?

I just now came across this crazy lego deal. The man tells me it's 200 for everything in the picture. Is this too good to be true? Some of these sets are 200 dollars alone! I appreciate your responses

  19. New to the site. How can I upload a list of my inventory and keep track of price changes or even keep track of the estimated value? I plan to keep them for a long time but I do from time to time buy some for resell. And i know of similar sites for the Pops that you can do this.

My 6-year old son would really like to start getting into the train sets. This is a theme in Lego I do not know much about. What would you recommend in the $200-$300 range? (This would be his only big Christmas gift.) He builds at the level of a teen, so I'm not worried about complexity. (He did tower bridge recently to give you context.) I have access to reasonably priced 3677, but I'm not crazy about it. Opinions? And what add-ons would you recommend? Eg track, station, etc... thank you you for your help!

  21. I bought lego treehouse 21318 from amazon, sold & shipped. Was excited on its arrival, but noticed that the seal tag does NOT have any code. Is this normal? The box is good condition, have a crease on on side. Should I be of concern of the no seal code and box condition? Enclosed is pic of the seal tag.

I'm fairly new to collecting lego but have collected other items for some time. What I've found interesting is that thru production there are always variations, intentional and unintentional. We see many variations of a figure from set to set, but are there any figs that have changed their design elements in the same set? A recent example of an unintentional variation (error) is the Flux capacitor emblem spelling in the DeLorean. The stickers for the monster fighter sets were intentional variations. Anything else come to mind?

  25. Hi folks, is this altered flag that is meant to represent/symbolize the actual US flag "appropriate", meaning that it does not offend or disrespect anyone aka being "politically correct"? The only other option would be to change red to the top und blue to the bottom - would this be the better alternative?
