This board seems to rate this one as a winner, given the seemingly pending EOL this spring. So, simple question. At what price do you see this a must buy? Are you sticking to the 20% rule, or making exceptions closer to retail? In my area at least, you can still find a few of these in store at Walmart/Target, so I think there is still a good shot at picking them up for $80 or lower very soon. Thoughts?

I just ordered a VC (limit one per customer) with the 20% off. The discount wasn't applicable with the Riding Camp, however. Hoping the order will go through.

Just want the one to add to my collection. Not sure if making multiple transactions would have worked. It's also seems a bit unscrupulous since TRU does state "limit one per customer". 

I don't know what's going to happen with this 20% off issue...I'm just ordering a bunch and hopefully the orders go through.  I'm at 12 right now.  I just changed from paypal, to credit card and am using my secondary address.  

 

I'm also picking up some Ghost Trains as the 20% applies to those...$56.  Of course, not as nice of a deal as VC for $64!

Yes I would definitely bring it in for a price adjustment. I've never had a prob doing that.

Anything can happen, but tru has had these kind of screw ups before when a sale kicks over and in my experience they've always followed through on the orders (with the exception being when they run out of stock). Hopefully they will come through this time.

Just got my 8 order confirmations! So far, its looking good.

Ordering 1-3 sets would prob keep you off the radar .. but for people placing 10+ order using the 20% coupon is going to ruin this deal for everyone else tbh

It's good to hear that TRU had generally followed through previously. Hopefully you won't be the main contributing factor that made them run out of stock

Got confirmation for my 5 orders with the coupon.  I also ordered 1 each from my local stores for pick up with no coupon.   Hoping they all go through!

I was able to purchase two from two different stores for pick-up.

The code didn't work and I was only able to use one rewards ($5) per ea. item
