Built the Seacow. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it looks very cool. I keep staring at it, it's just so nice. 74ade9d18cd0082c7e627ad626207123.jpg

No time for big builds, but these two guys were fun. Not really liking the big pieces used for the wheel wells nor the special 2x4 with 2 technic bricks pieces, but result is pretty good. Didn't apply all but 2 stickers to the Ferrari - might do a little headlight mod later. These should go into my to-be-built city inside a custom dealership mod.

41999 4x4 Crawler Exclusive Edition

I've always been a fan of power function technic sets and this one is one of the best I've built. It's a shame I was in my dark ages until this year, so I had to pay resell price for this set. It's a great set and the colours / stickers used in the set make it really unique.

Built these three sets over the past 6 months.  To my surprise the Tie Fighter displays the best of the three and gets the most attention from guests, but was a fairly repetitive/somewhat boring build.  I think the Firehouse was the one I enjoyed building the most with the interior detail.  I've never been a Slave I "junkie" so I sort of anticipated my reaction to it after built to be meh, but it is a nice set.

You missed a hell of a ride with that set.  Not saying read all 162 pages of the 41999 thread but if you skim through, it's worth it.

My FLL team needed narrower wheels for its robot. I looked at BL first, but then, by stroke of genius, realized I could benefit from the situation and purchased 42036 - for me to build, then the team takes the wheels, and after the tournament I get them back :).

Nice machine, a couple of really tricky connections but otherwise a quick build.

I built the 40138 Christmas Train. I had put together 40139 Gingerbread House last night. It's funny how different an experience it was vs. last year. I don't know if it was the hype or the space of time, but I had thought that GH was a "better" set. Today, I cannot decide. I still love the look of GH, but if I compare the build, I enjoyed the train more. I'm really looking forward to the new Winter Village train. Slow and steady.

It's half term here in the UK so my son and I had a SW marathon on TV whilst building this beast. Don't worry folks, it's the original!!

I volunteered to go to go to my parents house to hand out halloween candy and I brought along a treat.  I finished bag 1 there and bag 2 last night back home.

It's nice but unremarkable (dat ass!).  I liked some of the building techniques used for the back window and some of the panels but I REALLY didn't like building the first third of the set, it was incredibly boring.  It's still worth the $45 net that I paid for it and it also functions as Christine while the trick or treaters head to my hotel.

Finished building a 2nd GE last night. Picked it up cheap and planned to sell it on but now i'm not so sure.

I've always wanted to do the double stack. Trump towers eat your heart out.

Built Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! (70816) today and it goes nicely with my Galaxy Explorer (497) and Space Cruiser (487).  It was great to see how Lego kept the LL numbers in relative sequence - Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! = LL929, Galaxy Explorer = LL928 and Space Cruiser = LL924.  As you can see I love the Lego space series!  I managed to create own MOC on the crater plate with the campfire.  And yes, the antenna on the Galaxy Explorer set is intact and not broken at all!
