Hi! My girlfriend and I are going to her family Christmas party where there will be approximately 40 people and we want to host a version of Family Feud between the adults (ages 45-60) and the "kids" (ages 20-30) We have a trophy and small prize for the winners and came up with 10 questions and are trying to ask about 25 people each to come up with the surveys. In the interest of this post, and me being a huge fan of the TV show LOST, I thought I'd start a topic. I loved the show. I loved the mysteries. I loved the answered (and unanswered) questions. I loved the endings. For me, LOST was one of the best televisions shows ever, and the ending was perfect. I also get that many people either didn't like it, didn't like the mysteries, or didn't like how the show ended. So, let's chat. I doubt I'll change any minds, but I'm always willing to talk about the show.

I've been at this for a while now, and I have some friends who are heavy Magic players - I always keep my eye out for sealed product on clearance for them, but I never come across any. Is this a function of the card business, are they not allowed to clear/discount or do they just never bother? Anyone have any insights on M:TG clearance?

My $0.02: This is a widely-discussed topic in my face-to-face friendships. I tutored math (Algebra 1 thru Fininte Problems) for 8 years while I was a HS, Undergrad & Masters student. This experience left me with 2 firm conclusions: #1 Long-term, consistent, incremental, and monitored tutoring is a slam dunk... but all 4 factors must be in place. From MechWarrior to Macross, Earthsiege to Armored Core, Heavy Gear to Gundam, etcetera, fans of mecha everywhere let yourself be heard here! I was just wondering if there are other people on the site that dig giant robots and stuff. I'm not necessarily asking about the series or movies these mecha appear in but focusing more on the designs themselves. September 19th 1985 was the day of the Great Earthquate that destroyed most of México city... Me and my family were there on vacations and just left the city the night before.... the hotel where we stayed fell down.. as most of the downtown sold buildings did. It was a 8.2 earthquake in Richter scale.. Today 32 years later to the day, a strong 7.2 earthquake shocked México City Again at 1.14 PM Central. Damage to the city is considerable. Not sure how to feel about this... Let's discuss how this is a FAIL or a WIN? Does it affect the LEGO secondary markets? Would people rather work a job than part LEGO sets out or flip small sets considering the fact that parting out LEGO sets usually equates to a minimum wage job?

Hello everyone, Does anybody have or know of a good NES or SNES emulator for the Macintosh platform? It seems like there are a million of them out there for Windows. So, since starting a little modest investing in Lego, it's been hard to escape the Star Wars theme. However, I've never really been into Sci-Fi so have never ever sat down to watch any of the films/movies properly. I now feel that to understand the sets better (and hopefully for some viewing pleasure) I need to get a better understanding of the characters and ships etc, which means watching the films. I did a little search on-line and it has been suggested to watch the episodes in this order: IV, V, I, II, III, VI. However, others have said you could just miss out I, or all of I, II, and III. So as of January 29th I will no longer be employed after 15 years of faithful service at a big biotech company. First time unemployed and frankly I'm scared. Mortgage , kids , insurance are at the forefront of my concerns, but also my Lego collection. Any advice?
