http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/city-of-edmonton-wins-international-award-for-lego-videos-1.2736551 Not cutting edge for the LEGO and MOC world but interesting enough for a mainstream project. Don't mind my tax dollars going toward something like this ;)

It was reported Casey Kasem had died just yesterday morning at St. Anthony's Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington. For many of us, he will be best remembered as the voice of Shaggy Rogers from Scooby-Doo or Cliffjumper on the original Transformers cartoon. For the final years of his life, he was suffering from Lewy body dementia causing him inability to speak among other terrible symptons. May his spirit find peace.

Does anyone know of a seller / website that sells clear lego display stands, similar to the ones used to display sets at the 2013 NY Toy Fair? Thanks

Anybody here also a fan of that tv show? Watched it last night...had couple guys with huge inventory of comics and transformers toys that were just 'addicted' or very passionate about their collection. Both over valued their collection and didn't want to sell anything. Would be cool to see a Lego collector on this show...

What a load of BS. Now I have to change internet provider as I never want to touch comcast with a ten feet pole. I do not know anyone who has Comcast and not complain about it. I should have filled those petitions for Google Fiber http://money.cnn.com/2014/02/13/technology/comcast-time-warner-cable-deal/

I'm a huge Lego collector but I have a few Duplo blocks as well, plus some huge Megablok Maxi size that my wife bought. I can connect Lego above or below Duplo, which is great -- especially for building huge structures. I can snap Megablok Maxi above my Lego or Duplo, but I'd like to snap them below. The height/width dimensions line up, but the huge rounded pegs above Megabloks won't be accepted by Duplo above. Does anyone know of Lego or Duplo pieces that will accept Megabloks below? I had success with the Duplo Thomas Trains lid/building-piece... it accepts Megabloks. Any similar pieces would be helpful.

Just noticed this: http://thebrickcollectors.com/ I am not affiliated with them in any way, just think their two PDF magazines are very creative and well-done with some activities for kids.

Costco is 2 miles up the road, so i will be loading up on these. http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/generations-titan-metroplex-coming-soon-to-a-costco-near-you-for-7999/28391/

Okay, so by "crafty" I'm not referring to those awesomely creative MOC-ers, nor those sneaky yet soulless resellers who like to take candy away from babies (kidding...) I'm referring to this! And this! How lucky those kids are to have such a crafty mom. Makes me want to break out the old crochet needles and start crafting up some brick-shaped granny squares.

My brother sent me this link in his local Craiglist universe: http://allentown.craigslist.org/wan/3700050483.html I'm sure there are a few people here that can appreciate an ad like this. Maybe I should set up my own post if this actually works... In my own local Craigslist universe: http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/tag/3701222921.html It looks like there are some Lego in there and a lot of assorted weirdness. Feel free to ad your own Craiglist listings that make a person do a double take.
