Hey, Was wondering if any of you who build have any expertise on a good quality Lego table for the kiddos. I've been browsing EBay and Amazon and have taken a liking to a table made by a company in North Dakota called Flextoys, they make what looks like a good quality, sturdy table with solid oak legs. They offer a model with or without a mesh storage bag in the middle for about 160 plus 20 bucks to ship. There's also some less impressive looking all-plastic tables and an official Lego table with a pretty cool singular design but it's well over 200 bucks. Anyone have any good advice on this stuff?

http://thebrickblogger.com/2013/03/remembering-lego-fan-mitchell-jones/ Here's a story about a young boy and his fondness for LEGOs (or LEGO bricks for you brits). Saw it on Bricklink and thought I'd share it here. I'm a brand new father of three weeks, and I will definitely have fun introducing my son to these wonderful toys. Regards, Cody

Does Lego not do this anymore? I found a link to the Lego.com page where you can subscribe but all I got was one of those ''oops page not found". Does anyone know when they discontinued this?

Haven't seen anyone bring up this topic, Im curious about everyone's previous hobbies they had or collections they accumulated. I myself was an avid model train enthusiast, building and collecting HO scale models. I transitioned away from model trains into Lego recently and it's definitely just as enjoyable, even more addicting!

Hey guys/gals, I love love love the Star Wars planet sets. I love them so much I want to build some custom high quality acrylic displays. What I have in mind would allow you to display the LEGO set, the planet hanging properly, the box, and the coolest part is the instruction manual. These would be both stackable and/or hangable. These would also be built perfectly to display almost all battle packs or small sets in a similar manor. I have submitted my design to a couple of manufacturers and am curious if anyone else might be interested in something like this? So my question to the community is would you be interested in a "LEGO specific display" and if so how m…

Hello, This was a set I completed from the 'Building Together - Road Trip' promo a while back: Also, my son and I had recently attended the official grand opening of Legoland Discovery Centre at Vaughan Mills mall, located in Vaughan about 20 minutes north of Toronto: Enjoy!

I don't know how many of you played this, but I liked it. I was too stindgy to pay for it, but I scrounged my way up to level 26 on free to play. I thought it was really good for a computer game, and liked that you could build and pimp out your minifigure with all the sweet gear. I was just thinking that it would be great if Lego released it as a Wii/xbox game. It probably wouldn't have to MMO feature, but they could mod it as a regular game. What I would want most of all though, is a LU theme with sets from the game. They had so many different and unique locations and I think it would sell well with little kids. They could include a bunch of body pieces and weapon…

Hi all, After I got done playing my trumpet the other day I thought of an idea. Lego should make instrument sets. These wouldn't be minifigure size, but life size. You could display them in a case and Lego could offer different instruments. I added some pictures I've found of instruments people have made. Pretty cool looking if you ask me. I then thought of two cons relating to this idea. 1. Limited Market People will probably only buy it if they are a Lego fan and play the instrument making the potential customer pool smaller. 2. Unique parts If for example they made a trumpet, it would probably require new parts. This equals a higher cost initially to make the set.…

So I was out making my "rounds" today, and I had a store associate ask me with a straight face if I was a "Hoarder" (as in the TV show). I couldn't help but laugh. Anyone else been asked this? Is it a bad thing that I answered "YES!" ?

Every so often I like to play around on Google Trends. If you have not heard of Google Trends before, it is "a public web facility of Google Inc., based on Google Search, that shows how often a particular search-term is entered relative to the total search-volume" (source: Wikipedia). Basically, it shows you how often people Google stuff over time. I got to thinking the other day about the popularity of Brickpicker since the USA Today article came out about Brickpicker and decided to look up "Brickpicker" on Google Trends. Talk about a Google search explosion for Brickpicker in December and even more so into January! I'll definitely be watching the popularity of Brick…

First of let me apoligize for the rhyme. Ok, so I was looking at the 2010 set 10213 and 2011 set 10231 on Brickset, and can only find about four or five tiny differences between them. Does anyone know why Lego re-released it in 2011 with those almost imperceptable changes?

So I was interested in buying a wookie, and I saw this http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-Star-Wars-CHEWBACCA-Wookie-NEW-2012-Minifigure-from-set-9516-Jabbas-Palace-/110920088363?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item19d35a3b2b My question is, is there a black blank head underneath the wookie's head? Or is the wookie head thingy one piece? Thanks Edit: Found out, thanks!
