I stopped at a couple of Mom and Pop's "traditional" style toy stores last week while patrolling WalMarts for clearance, and noticed that neither sold Lego of any sort. The first one didn't even sell anything really comparable except craploads of Playmobil and the second store actually sold some extremely generic knock-offs that looked worse than mega bloks. Has Lego's licensing of pop culture franchises and films caused these dealers to step away because the product is too "commercial" to be sold in their stores now? If that was the case, why don't they just sell the modulars, the Creator line, or the architecture sets? Why dismiss Lego completely for knock-off brick…

At 7500+ pieces, the new UCS Falcon is the largest wide-release LEGO set to date. What do you think will be the first 10,000 piece set, and how soon do you think it'll be released?

Today, I got some replacement parts that I needed from a set. Usually, it take about 1-2 weeks for the pieces to come in. This time it has been four months since I have placed the request for the pieces. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else here. i do not think that it is usual for it to take that long to send the replacement parts.

Bought this Lego set at toys r us canada online a few years back , but when I received my order by mail back then , one of the lids of the set is oddly packaged. (please refer to picture) The seals do not look like they have been opened at all. I weighed the set on a postal scale and it weighed 1.222 grams. When I checked bricklink it says this set weighs 1.170 grams in weight. I would like to sell this set , but not sure if there would be something wrong inside it?? I really do not want to open the box , because it would make this set worth less money.... But on the other hand would like to make sure there is nothing wrong…

A truly odd question for sure. Does anyone know of some places where you can create your own website for free (or close to)? It need not be fancy; just have some basic features and whatnot for personal use.

Ok this question is for those of you who HAVE stored or are storing sets in outdoor mini storage buildings. I need to store my sets about 4 shelves worth. in a mini storage building temporarily for an up coming house move. Some sets are packed in boxes per @emazers suggestion, some are in lego shipping boxes and some are just stored on the shelf. Since I'll be storing during the summertime I have a concern about heat. (not humidity). I'm in the South East and the hottest part of our summer kicks in around July/August time. I'm pretty sure I won't be in the new house by July. Anyone with experience with this let me know.

I have been wanting a Streaming device. Having Amazon Prime, the Amazon Fire seems like a pretty good choice. Anyone have it yet? Only thing I don't like is there isn't really the ability to stream from a PC to the player.

Went to the Lego Store today as I had a gift card, So I was getting 2 Grand Emporium's and another Volkswagen Camper, the girl said do you have any Coupons, I said yes so I used a $20 Coupon on each GE and the Camper. BrickUltra I'm not aware of a set that retails for 1,000.00 Maybe he is referring to sets in the secondary market?? In that case he would be surprised to learn that many sets carry this price tag.......and his mind would be blown if he saw the current market value of the 10179. These are suppose to be released Sept 25, they were suppose to be $400 each, but Walmart lowered the price to $300, so everybody else did the same. I got the Centipede system coming. Had to post this. I had a dream last night that I was scooping up deals at a Meijers last night. Understand that 1) I have never had a dream about buying lego before, and (2) I have never set foot in or have any idea what a Meijers looks like as we don't have them in Canada. In my dream it was basically a Wal-mart with a Meijers sign, and for some reason I was getting a lot of the Yoda and 501st recon walker set for $3 each. I have been reading about the big scores members have made there too long now it seems as it's invading my private dream space. Bizarre.
