Hi, I have the Star Wars 1999 collection all unopened and in great condition...minus one (7128). Is it best to sell as a group or individually? Thank you for your help!

What is the easiest quickest way to determine the footprint of an existing set for city-planning purposes? I want to create an amusement park (Disney Castle, Roller Coaster, Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Pirate Roller Coaster, etc.), but several of the sets I do not yet own. My best method at this time would simply be to look at pictures or downloaded instruction manuals try to count/guess. I'd like to determine the 'page break' of my amusement park boundaries to see if/when I'd need a second table. Or if I have enough room in my basement for the 'vision'.

Thanks in advance! So, here’s a quick story……moved a few years back and packed everything in ziploc bags. Never got around to pulling everything back out. I’m at a cross roads of opening back up my BL store or just selling off inventory but I’d really like to get a few ideas on storing the parts for resale. Is anybody doing this now and if so how are you storing your parts to fill orders? I just used storage bins in the past and was always a nightmare when you were trying to find what you needed. Thanks!!

What is up with the Amazon Japan import. I have seen quite a bit of these lately. Does Lego actually print in Japan. I'm just a little concerned. there seems to be a lot of third party sellers through these outlets on amazon. Thanks.

Hi, I'll have a 6 hour layover at CPH, just wondering if I may find any exclusive LEGO sets not available in US? Don't plan to leave the airport. Thank you.

I'm just trying to get a poorly printed piece from the Mustang set and it's already out-of-stock...and that got me thinking is this a 'No Duh" type of thing?

My wife has about 38 minifigures and just moved into a new office. She wants to display them in a picture frame style display...something that can hold about 50 minifigures so that she has space to add more. She was looking at Amazon but then I told her I would ask here to see if anyone has any suggestions. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all, I’ve noticed there’re 2 types of packaging for the set. Based on reviews on Amazon, one of them has missing pieces. which one is the one that comes with the correct manual and has all pieces? Set 1 or 2? Thank you!

Hi! I’m looking for advice on how to keep my husband’s LEGO collection safe when we move and then store them at our new home. I saw some people on YouTube say that they wrapped the minifigures in kitchen plastic wrap and then put them in plastic storage bins to keep them from getting scratched up from one another. This seems alright for a few weeks, but the boxes of wrapped minifigures might end up in storage for years depending on if my husband puts them up for display or not. Is there a chance that the wrap could degrade and harm his collection? His legos really make him happy and it would be sad if anything happened to them. The wrap I’ve starte…

I'm not talking minifigures at @1.99 but regular-sized sets at $20-$30 or more a pop. If you order the limit of 99 are you on the ban list or do they ship them out without batting an eye? Thanks.

We all know the Exclusives section on LEGO S&H web page where the most expensive and valuable sets are presented. Do you know when this section has been introduced and has someone a full list of Exclusives from the beginning on? Previously these sets had a 5 digit number (as distinct from the usual sets) but now the number does not tell us id a set is an exclusive one or not... Mauro

I have recently purchased a Used 3221. Reasonable price and all pieces plus the instructions are there. Even the spare bricks and the box are given to me. Unfortunately the sticker seems to be stuck on in a 'not so equal spacing' kind of way and some are just crooked in an angle. Are we able to readjust them? Maybe using the hair dryer trick will do? or anyone have any better ideas to share? I apologize for the long lines of words. Using the app to do this and it doesn't let the line breaks shows up on the post.

Has anyone had issues with the Brick Picker app not providing push notifications? Now that we have all of the Christmas sales, I really hope this gets turned back on, unless it's an issue with my account. It simply stopped working one day. No trouble shooting has helped.

My son is pretty good at building lego sets (he is 6 and has built the death star and sand crawler). However, we want to introduce him to motorized lego. So far his exposure is to lego trains. What is a good way to introduce him to lego motors and which ones would you recommend buying? The ones from lego education seem great (with the necessary pieces and curriculum) however, they seem pricey for the number of pieces. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I don't know if anyone can offer an opinion on this. I am in the uk. My wife and I have got really into investing in Lego Over the last couple of years and it is great fun. we started by buying a number of large sets eg SSD and HH. Our plan is to hold large sets as we buy them for about 5 years. to help pay for the bigger purchases we started buying and selling minifigures and flipping smaller sets. We have set this up properly as a business and declared it to the inland revenue. The business has done well in its first year and I am clear that we will pay income tax on profits having done a tax return at the end of the year. My qu…

First question: Has anyone else ever discovered a great trick to keeping track of the various rod lengths/numbers with set pieces is to place them over the side of a 1x15 (or smaller) technic brick? For example: If the rod covers 5 holes, it's a 5. If it covers 8 holes it's an 8 and so on and so forth etc. etc. I am currently building a Ferrari 1:8 that I bought as a bunch of mixed up pieces and sets in a big tattered box. Like the Batmobile I built before it, I have been forced to use the build instructions courtesy of cache.lego. This is great until you want to figure out proper rod lengths as measuring the exact size isn't an option especially on an…

It has the 2014 imperial star destroyer half put together and half still in packaging with all the men. All the tubes together weigh out to about 70+ lbs. I'm wanting to sell it all together but I'm being low balled like crazy. $40 is a joke. Help me out please.

Hello, I would love some help from those more experienced with buying LEGO lots. I found a lot I’m interested in and wanted to check if anyone has an opinion on whether it’s a good deal or not. I have purchased several lots from Craigslist before and usually pay around (or less than) $2 a pound including 1-2 minfigs per pound. This one is hard for me to judge how much is actually here and if it would work out to a good price per pound. I do not resell, it will be kept for personal collection. Listing says that all sets have been broken apart and organized by color and that min figs are included (although I don’t see the minfigs in pictures). Usually I buy bigger bins o…

I’m about to go on a spending freeze and won’t be buying any new sets until Father’s Day. I am making one more purchase and think it would be best to pick up a set that might be retired by the summer. I’ve been reading the retirement speculation thread, but haven’t seen talk about any of these sets except for the train. Which is the following do you think will retire in the next six months? -Old Fishing Store -Winter Train (I’d prefer to buy this next winter but worry it won’t be around). -Parisian Restaurant (I assume this will be the next modular to retire). Thanks for looking into your crystal ball. I’ve only been building for a year and I’m trying to learn th…

I know nothing of Bionicle, but I'm fairly certain this is a really nice flip at the low asking price. No instructions or set #'s available, and I've only identified 2 of them. Any help would be appreciated - if interested in the lot for yourself, feel free to PM me and maybe we can both make a score...

My son has $100 to spend at the Lego store tomorrow. He asked me to research what he should buy. My recommendation was going to be one of the Creator cars - Ferrari F40, VW Beetle, or Mini Cooper. He likes to build more than anything which is why I thought a higher piece count, challenging build would be better than anything else. Is there anything else you would recommend? And of the three Creator sets, which do you like the best?
