So looks like I over did it a bit. I kept picking up bulk lots when I found good deals on them. I filling. Intended on sorting them when I bought them. We recently moved and that's when I realized what I had. now my question is, what do I do? Either sort it bit by bit, or start selling it Off bit by bit and hope I break even? what. Would you do?

Just curious. In my office we all use laptop connected with a big monitor, so while doing my work on the big monitor I also open Lego shop, Walmart, ToysRUs etc. on laptop's small monitor, and issue on-line orders from time to time. But a few days ago our manager told us do not abuse company's internet service, maybe company is not happy that we doing e-business while working. If you want to take care of your Lego stuff what do you do in office?

I bought a Lego set on ebay, the one with Queen Amidala (9499). It was listed as “NIB” and “You will receive one unopened set, still New In Box.” It just arrived and to my dismay, two of the seals were tampered with. There were fingerprints, and a few very small spots at the corner where the paint didn’t line up with the image below. Also, the tape isn’t sticking at one just one end (the other half after the corner is fine). I looked at it, fiddled with the lid, and then the lid just popped right open with the tape sliding off the box, barely any stick whatsoever and no additional peel of the picture off the box. I was so worried someone jacked Queen Amida…

Does breaking down (folding flat/collapsing) empty lego set boxes diminish their value? New collector trying to figure out storage space.

HI all My name is Luke and I'm a Finance student at the University of Cape Town in South Africa doing a project on LEGO as an alternative investment. I am trying to paint an accurate picture of LEGO investing and I want to try get a better understanding of the sets that have earned satisfactory returns over the years rather than just the best and worst performers. Would really appreciate it if someone could help me find a few sets that fit this description. Thanks a lot

My Brickfolio is in dollars. It's telling me it's set to GBP which is what I want it set at, but it's showing in dollars. I'm inputting prices in GBP and it's giving me value in dollars thus rendering it useless. Anyone know what to do?

Today I saw some Limited Edition WWT sets for sale, these are official Lego but lack set numbers as they seem to only be on sale wherever the WWT in the UK is currently hosting a Lego animal trail. I didn't purchase any as the cost/brick seemed a bit on the high side, but looking at eBay now there's been a few that seem to have sold for roughly double what they'd cost to pick up (as a complete set of six). So, am I an idiot for not getting some or is awareness so low that nobody would have heard of them so demand would be weak? Here's a link to a completed listing so you can see what I'm talking about: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-WWT-Wet-Lands-Animals-Limited-…

Hi all, Am new to the boards and looking to get some information on what Legos I have. Most of this has been in storage for awhile and just came across it from the childhood years. Everything that I have is probably from the 80's. Wasn't sure if just boxes were worth money by themselves, if ripped boxes on one side, both sides, etc. Going to try to put some pictures up and any info would be greatly appreciated on the value and sell value. I looked up the sell value for say the Wrecker Unit 1 6656 on here and says around $40 new, I look on Ebay and someone is selling for $249 new. This item 6656 and the cement mixer 6682 are the only items new in the box. Everyt…

Back around July of 2015, my friend's daughter (8 years old) was over, and mentioned that she liked LEGO. I was feeling slightly generous, so I gave her a few polybag sets. I saw her again the other day, and she told me that she still has them and that she has built the "Dr. Who one" many, many times. I know I did not give her an actual Dr. Who, but I cannot figure out what she is talking about. I'm pretty sure it was some sort of promo, monthly mini build or general polybag. Any ideas?

Was looking at the T1 on SAH UK and saw that under the price was a drop-down box giving different numbers (6144520 & 6039709), the latter of which showed the T1 as being retired. http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Volkswagen-T1-Camper-Van-10220 Does anyone know what these mean? Thanks /// Paul

I've recently not been able to purchase through Legos online shop store. After speaking with them and verifying my account was all fine. The review team sent a email stating my address is not a home address but a freight forwarding service which they do not ship too. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue and is there a way to fix it without moving to a whole different home lol... So far Lego hasn't helped in solving issue and I only just started buying Lego which was about $200 worth.

What is up with the Amazon Japan import. I have seen quite a bit of these lately. Does Lego actually print in Japan. I'm just a little concerned. there seems to be a lot of third party sellers through these outlets on amazon. Thanks.

Hi, My very first question in this forum simply because looking at it amaze me. I saw a lego house that is able to open up in half like a doll house. Can I check if anyone know which set is that? Does it come from lego creator series? Also appreciate on some advice to use specific brick to create any house that can open up. Thank you.

In searching this site for 6848, the results that come back are puzzling. The picture in the results does not match the picture on the box. Also, the number of pieces differs. I have the original box from 1985. Total pieces equals 50. It is called Interplanetary Shuttle. Picture attached. I paged through the Space category and did not find my item. Any ideas? Thank you.

I notice alot of sellers are marking up there lego sets by almost 50 to 75% when there still selling for the normal price either on Lego.com, Target , Wallmart, etc etc. Are they realing feeling that people are to lazy to do research to find a cheaper price and will just desperately overspend on Ebay??

I acquired a large bin of vintage Legos from the original owner. They are mostly in good condition. I've sorted by color and identified just a few sets. (Wibdmill 362 , 6075 castle, old 300 series road plates, 590 engine, 580 brickyard, 382 breakdown truck) Have much more to do. Not sure I have it in me to patiently build everything. Thinking about selling as is...see it two ways: Gamble on an eBay auction? (But I always like BIN.) or sell off figures, plates, specialty pieces on eBay? Then rid myself of bulk on CL? Thoughts, advice appreciated! Exxon station also in there. Probably 25 lbs total.
