It seems a lot of people are a little paranoid after the FB seemed to vanish from one day to the next. I'm worried about this, but it seems that it is not likely to happen. Maybe there is another catalogue for more expensive items?? I think it's a wholesale catalog; not the catalog you find in a toy store over here in Europe. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker i know that store staff tell a lot of trash, but i wonder why 4 different stores (2 in austria, 2 in germany according to the german member viscontia) plus the lego hotline tell exactly the same thing: they won't get a GE anymore. The fact that european amazon sites are out of stock too tells me that EOL is near. (just my feeling) I think EOL will happen much earlier compared to FB in nov / dec 2013. It is easy to tell if the staff have no idea on when a set is going to get discontinued when various stores are saying completely random things compared to other sources. If this set goes against the grain of modulars before it then I'll happily refrain my thoughts. Until then John Lewis are stocked and Lego UK have the option to order 99. I will be ordering a few of these over the next couple of months but I don't expect it to disappear for a while yet. legomark3 Posted March 22, 2014 Share Posted March 22, 2014 I think this is going to be my first set to buy a few of (just dipping my toes in lego investing, more a fun hobby and an offset to some of the cost from buying sets for the kids as they are now huge Lego fans .
