Thanks...I think we have another thread where screen shots are included as evidence; but this is very helpful.

I think the SC F40 and white Porsches will age well given they are popular cars and at the "mini-me" of larger versions

Ninjago stuff typically do OK; but these are all rehashed favorites

Lion dance BHz will probably do OK

The Fugly Technic Orange corvette will do well just to mock me (especially since that size range will continue w/ the recent Mclaren)

D-O is a head scratcher and may be a dark horse (I know many here got these on steep discount since it was very unpopular)

Nice, that the 2019 Speed champions at least get retired now and not at the end of the year, so there is some hope left.

Updates from Stonewars.  Lots of D2Cs added to the list.  Not sure I believe it...

The crocodile locomotive is extremely popular here since its a Swiss train and I have none at the moment. Damn. I've seen a local retailer sell out 1000 more than once.

I'm travelling to France in the next two weeks and may have to adapt my buy list somewhat. Batmobile is a surprise as well.

Last two weeks I was in Italy Donald Duck and Pluto brickheadz have already disappeared together with many of the jurassic sets.

Hello all again, hope you are all doing great!

Been a while since Ive commented on here, but I religiously check this site everyday.

Anyhow, per that Stonewars retirement list, is 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay actually retiring this year? Seems like a sub two year run is rather short, but then again it is under the Ideas line. I always had the plan to buy two of these for myself (one for the island build and the other for the ship). I know in the AFOL online world Stonewars is a mixed bag in terms of opinion, but seems to be the gold standard in terms of accuracy for retiring sets. BE says its retiring in 2022. LEGO store employees don't really know much in terms of it either because of their limited access to that information or they just don't care. I had a manager at the local LEGO store here in Illinois tell me that "Hard to Find" on the LEGO site means retirement is imminent, which I know it does not.

So what's everyone's opinion on 21322 and retirement? As always any and all feedback is appreciated!

Lukas (of stonewars) believes it will not retire in 2021 but will be pushed off.

I wouldn't wait to buy it.

Will be interesting to see whether Barracuda Bay does indeed go EOL this year, or gets extended after all. Depends of course on the Lego resellers who probably now go buy up all existing stock, prompting Lego to produce another batch and extend the EOL date. :P

The Crocodile Locomotive would be a great investment should it indeed go out this year. Another set to keep an eye on!

The Crocodile Locomotive is the vesta turbine of this cycle, at least here in the USA. zero interest here, its a real turd

It's probably way more popular on the other side of the pond. Last year it was hard to find and I could even sell one for 200CHF.

I've also just realised ISS is not on the list?
