My latest local LEGO Store observations:

Slave I, Tantive IV, Vestas, all seem to be creeping back in fairly regularly.
This store finally ran out of Dickens promos in the last couple days, still plenty of Ice Rinks. (And Snowball fights)

They also ran out of the BB-8 Polybag Promo.

No Razor Crests, unknown if avail before Christmas.
Molten Man and Stark Jet added to clearance table to join the Donut Shop openings, Toy Story 4, and TLM2 sets.
Still lots of VW Beetles and Lion Dance. (Full price, marked as last chance)

They sold out of Steamboat Willie, pretty quickly. I actually wanted to grab a couple more at the discounted price, so I was somewhat annoyed by this. ;)

Slave I is even available right now at SAH at regular price with the 2 GWP

Was Slave 1 back up to full RPP?

It's undeniable that LEGO is paying more attention to demand right now. The relaunch of the Saturn V and Ship in a Bottle, the delayed retirement of the Treehouse and multiple  HP sets. It may be pandemic related or simply a shift on their part, but they seem reluctant to let extremely popular items go into EOL when consumer demand is so high. It probably isn't helping matters that the horde descends upon retiring sets and further inflates that demand by buying out all remaining stock.

Bring back at a $5 higher retail price. Strange.

The old set didn't have pluto and the guitar. I was thinking about getting some of these am I glad I didn't.

That shows how desperate Disney is.  Last year, adding Pluto would have meant $10 higher MSRP :P

What’s peoples feelings on 75159 as an investment here?

Rumours in the U.K it will be reduced to £299 just before end of year.

Terrible investment, IMHO.  A Deathstar has been around forever.  Huge numbers produced in both this model and the previous one.  Big, bulky and unlikely to increase significantly for the first couple years after retirement.
