There's an image floating around the web today, hinting at new Pirates of the Caribbean sets for 2017!  Set numbers 75990, 75991, 75992, and 75993.  No details about the sets yet.

Can't confirm this rumor to be true at this time.  But, what do you think?  New POTC sets?  A win or a loss?  What does that do to our older sets?  Anyone expect a remake?  Is this why the 2015 Pirates line ended after a year?

I just finished the Silent Mary and really loved building it.  It was a very satisfying building without the premade hull.  Most of the ships using the big hull pieces are so stubby and cookie cutter

No need dump in **** new one if you missed on BP ans QAR ships....

I've got all the boxed sets previously released for POTC, my question, do you guys think I should quick try to sell it now, or just wait until the new line is released. I'm worried about remakes (especially of BP or QAR) hurting the value of my collection. Thoughts?

I do not know why but i see lots of action on eBay about ships, sold lots of pitate ships and some sea cows...do you agree?

Like the third pic. From description it is a display and a play set as someone mentioned above and 1" longer then QAR.

Hey now, that was supposed to be a secret ;) ....still undecided on this one...who am I kidding? Of course I'm gonna get this. Probably wait for some kind of discount though.

I saw it, I'm still stunned.

Well... they know where they can stick it ;-)

How long does it typically take for other stores to begin carrying a LEGO exclusive set such as this?

The investment potential will be decided by the inclusion of a zombie shark. If it has one, this set is an instant classic.

Anything from a quarter to never. Typically, it´s been 3 months for most sets.

If you are the CEO of Radio Shack, Sears/Kmart, or Toys-R-Us, then sure!

Or maybe the Oval Office.

Edit: sorry. It was too easy.

Can't anyone be happy? Complain about remakes upon remakes. Lego does something different. River of tears

I'm mixed. I like it, but at like $99

I like it........even at -gulp-  $350au. ?

230 euros for us. TLG tax is alive and well! 200 euro RRP is only for Austria, Germany and EIRE.

2294 pieces limit 3 BTW.

There's no such thing as a LEGO exclusive set ;-)

No doubt the usual suspects like TRU, Smyths & JL will have it in stock soon enough.

I now hate it more than I did a few days ago, what an utter abortion of a set! The "Bellend of Billund" new CEO needs a slap!
