exciter1
You're right, I forgot about that. The most significant role in Episode I was as a stand-in/walk-in for Yoda. Hmm... He played one of the fans during the podrace too. You can clearly see a close-up of him cavorting with other fans.

Have any of you watched "Sushi Girl" with Mark Hamill yet? It's definitely a different role for him.
trekgate502
trek, please feel free to create a new speculation thread about the upcoming 8000 element count ep 7 SSD Jaisonline you got it, great Idea, not a thread on just the SSD but one on Episode VII Lego Set Ideas. Will create in just a bit
jaisonline
I sure hope Endor isn't in the movie. I've had enough Ewoks already between ROTJ and there 1 or 2 TV movies. At least with JJ Abrams, I doubt we'll see Ewoks pod-racing speeder bikes while screaming yippie. With Lucas, the latter could have been a possibility as the scene would've sold toys.
Sauromosis
Looks like the villian is extremely similar to Darth Revan...reborn? Or are they scrapping Old Republic? http://www.starwarsunderworld.com/2014/10/rumor-star-wars-episode-vii-villain.html There have also been rumors that one of the villians is female who hunts the John Boyega character (stormtrooper who deserted) and we haven't learned Gwendolyn Christie's role yet...is Brienne of Tarth a Sith? NZ-EUG
Will Boba Fett rise from the sarlac pit to finally collect his greatest bounty Han Solo? Killing Han will cause a blood feud with his daughter, inheriting the MF together with Chewy they make chase after Slave 1?
Huskers1236
Lucas seriously did Boba Fett wrong by making him die that way. Really? The greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy gets knocked of a skiff by a blind Han Solo? C'mon. If he was going to go down, it should have been in a blaze of glory. In the expanded universe, he escapes the Sarlac. If he shows up in VII - I may or may not squee like a schoolgirl at a boy band concert.

With the timeline, maybe there another "Fett" to be the next bounty Hunter like the torch was passed from Jango to Boba.

tractorboy
Episode 7 now has an official title that is listed at http://www.starwars.com/ The Force Awakens Surely that won't be the title of the movie? It's an awful title.

exciter1
It's still better than the working title, "Gungans Arise".

Young_Gun21
Maybe it has nothing to do with Luke and it's in a different time period in future. We have no idea so already saying the title is awful when you don't even know what that title contains, is like saying a book has an awful title when you haven't even read it. Young_Gun21
We do know that Mark Hamill was cast. Who do you suppose he is playing?Mark Hamill could be at the beginning or in a flashback. I don't see Disney using Mark Hamill as the main star of Star War VII. They are going to try a make something remarkable and I believe they will be moving on from Luke. He will most likely still show up but not a main character. IMHO
